Good morning and Happy Friday!! Whoo-hoo! And there’s a lot going on, isn’t there? Baking and wrapping and shipping, oh my! Hope you’re getting it all done!
Don’t be so busy that you miss a chance to join my Online Host Club starting in January! EVERYONE in the club will get a chance to be the host during Sale-A-Bration! And – in the six-months of the club, you’ll get to “host” twice. Which is amazeballs! Of course, “hosting” just means YOU get the host benefits. No work involved – I’ll do it all. Winner Winner. Check all the deets right here.
And there’s also still time to get in on my 2020 Jan – Jun Mini Catalog Shares!
Okay – with that little bit of business out of the way, let’s take a look at a pretty Sneak Peek card I made using a lovely set coming in January, called Forever Blossoms! Sorry – this picture angle is hard (Can you tell there is SILVER on this card?!) – take a look-see:
This color palette is from this week’s The Paper Players color challenge!
I started by prepping a Crumb Cake card base. Using the small flower from the Forever Blossoms set (available starting 3 Jan in the new Mini Catalog!) I stamped the image all over the front and inside panels with Versamark Ink. This gives a tone-on-tone design!
Next, on another piece of Crumb Cake card stock, I stamped the big floral image from in Versamark Ink. Then I sprinkled it with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it with my Heat Tool. When it was cool, I embossed it in the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
I matted the panel on Seaside Spray for the card front.
I colored the embossed image with my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush – picking up Seaside Spray Ink from the lid of the ink pad and using the Wink brush to “watercolor” the flowers. I used the Clear Wink by itself on the leaves. Once it was dry, I went back over the top of the image with my Seaside Spray and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Markers.
On another piece of Crumb Cake card stock, I stamped the Forever Blossoms sentiment in Crumb Cake ink – then I cut it out with my Classic Label Punch.
I tied a double-loop bow with some Linen Thread and adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot. I added the sentiment over the top – using Liquid Glue on the left side and a double-stack of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals under the right end.
I added a Bird Ballad Trinket with a Glue Dot.
A few Rhinestone Basic Jewels finished off the card front.
On the inside, I stamped a second Forever Blossoms sentiment in Crumb Cake ink on a Crumb Cake panel. Over that, I added the small flower image in Versamark.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Seaside Spray mat and into the prepared card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the small Forever Blossoms flower in Crumb Cake on the front…
…and more of the little blossoms on the envelope flap, too!
Et Voila! The Forever Blossoms stamp set – which will be bundled with the gorgeous Cherry Blossoms Dies (for a 10% savings!) – is simply stunning. And I like how it’s sort of elegantly vintage in Crumb Cake and Seaside Spray, don’t you? I hope you like – and are adding THIS one to your list! 🙂
This bundle is part of the Parisian Blossoms Suite!

Pretty card! Love that bow. 🙂 Poor Finn, always getting shorted on the love. 😉
Yep – he’s probably going to go eat some worms or something! Thanks, Amy! 🙂
Enter….work at a desk. 🙂
I love this card. Not my usual taste, I know, but something about it just speaks to me. As usual, you do a great job, and inspire me. Now, to just have TIME!
Desk. Hmmm – nope. Did that for too many years! And it’s a LAPtop!! LOL! Thanks, Julie – glad that you like the card! 🙂
Very pretty, Mary! Nice to see a preview of this pretty stamp set! Your background is perfect for these gorgeous florals! Thanks for playing with my colors this week at the Paper Players!
Thank you so much, LeAnne – and thanks for a challenging challenge! 🙂
Another pretty sneak peek Mary! I love your silver blooms and subtle embossed panel and the loopy linen bow brings focus to your sentiment and trinket flower. Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!
Thanks so much, Joanne! Appreciate you stopping by! 🙂
