Stampin’ Up! Christmas Crowd Sneak Peek!

Good morning – guess what?? It’s FRIDAY!!  Which means we’re teetering on the brink of THE WEEKEND! Whooo-hooo!! 🙂

I’ve got a super sweet – super simple – super quick! – 2019 Holiday Catalog sneak peek for you today.  It uses a little set that you might have overlooked in the catalog – called Christmas Crowd!  Take a look-see:

I used the sketch from this week’s Freshly Made Sketches for the layout.

And the Black-White-Cherry Cobbler color scheme is from The Paper Players this week!

This is quick, so…buckle-up, buttercup!

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the main image and a sentiment from the new Christmas Crowd stamp set – coming on 4 Sep AND available as part of my Snow Much Fun Special Bundle 10! – in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel.  Then I matted it on Cherry Cobbler for the card front.

I used my Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends to color various parts of the image.  I pulled the Cherry Cobbler Watercolor Pencil from the Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2 to every-so-lightly color Santa’s nose.

I ran a length of new Cherry Cobbler 3/8″ Diagonal Stripe Ribbon (also coming 4 Sept – and is the FREE gift with Cozy Christmas Special Bundle #9!) – around the panel and secured it in the back with Glue Dots.  Then I used a shorter length and tied a faux bow.

I added a few Cherry Cobbler jewels from the new Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (yes – you can get this FREE, too – check out the bundle lists!!) here and there, a couple three gold Metallic Pearls, and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added a second Christmas Crowd sentiment in Tuxedo Black to a Whisper White panel.  Then, using the little snowflake image, I inked and stamped it in Tuxedo Black, stamped it off TWICE and added it all around the sentiment.  I added a few Gold Metallic Pearls and some Cherry Cobbler Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat and into my Basic Black card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got the Christmas Crowd on the front…

…and more snowflakes on the envelope flap.  I inked and stamped it off once and then stamped the flap twice without re-inking…then I colored some of the little circles with my Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend.

Et Voila!  Is that not the cutest and cheeriest Christmas Crowd EVER!!?  I love this image – and the accompanying sentiments are tons of fun!!  I hope you like – and are adding it to your Gotta-Have-It list!!

2019 Holiday Catalog Shares Are Open!
