Stampin’ Up! It’s a Most Wonderful Time of the Year Sneak Peek!

Good morning, my peeps!  Happy Sunday!  Hope you’re staying cool wherever you may be today!  My Weather Live app yestedray informed me that the “Feels Like” condition was “A Sauna”.  And it was right!! Yuk!

If you were able to join me last night for my FB live video, I appreciate it – hope you liked the card and the peek at a few new goodies in the 2019 Holiday Catalog!  If not, but you’d like to take a gander at the replay, here ’tis!

I made a little Christmas-in-July card, using a couple of new goodies from the catalog – including the new Most Wonderful Time stamp set and Product Medley.  PLUS the wunnermus new Tree Punch.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one comes from this week’s Global Design Project sketch challenge.

I started very simply with a Whisper White panel matted on Old Olive for the card front.

I wrapped some of the Gold/White Tinsel Trim (one of the pieces of the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley!) twice around the matted panel, securing it in the back with Glue Dots.

With the new Tree Punch, I punched two Christmas Trees from one design of the DSP in the Product Medley and a third from the second design.  I lined them up and popped them all onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On one of the included sticker labels, I stamped a sentiment from the Most Wonderful Time stamp set (great news!  This stamp set is INCLUDED in the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley!  Whoo-hooo!) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I used my Embossing Buddy on the back of the sticker to un-stick-ify it, then popped it onto the trees with Dimensionals.

I tied a tinsel bow around the wrapped tinsel and added three little gold stars (also in the Medley) to the tops of the trees and the card front was done!

On the inside, I used the pretty big tree in the Most Wonderful Time stamp set.  I inked it up with Old Olive ink, stamped it off TWICE on scrap paper, then stamped it in the middle of a Whisper White panel.  Over that, I added a second sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink using my Stamparatus.  Then I added another gold star at the top of the tree.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to an Old Olive mat and into my Real Red card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got the large tree in full-strength Old Olive – plus a gold star – on the front…

…and more of the DSP on the envelope flap.  AND – cuz I smudged….the back of the envelope got a small Most Wonderful Time tree image in Old Olive.

Et Voila!  LOVE this Most Wonderful Time set!  So…remember what a “Product Medley” is – it has a ton of elements – stamps, paper, dies, and various accessories – to help you create lots and lots of wonderful projects!  You supply the “staples” (card stock, adhesive, inks, acrylic blocks, etc)!  And then let your creativity loose!  I KNOW you’re going to love this one as much as I do – and I can’t wait until you can get your mitts on it in September!  Hope you like!

Now – this Product Medley isn’t available to y’all until 4 Sept.  UNLESS….you decide to go ahead and take advantage of the Extra Extra Joining Special soon!  Join right now – and you’ll be able to take part in the Demonstrator Pre-Order starting on 1 August.  Or, wait until the 1st to join – and you can use 2019 Holiday goodies to fill out your Starter Kit!  Awesome opportunity either way you go!!  Give me a shout if you want to know more – and/or check out my Join My Team Page! :)TTFN

Do YOU Like to Pay Taxes on Your Goodies?!?

Me, neither!

If you love holidays—and don’t love taxes—we have some great news for you! Twelve U.S. states will have sales tax holidays for school supplies over the next several weeks. The dates for each state’s sales tax holiday will vary; the definition of “school supplies” will also vary from state to state. Fortunately, a selection of Stampin’ Up! products qualify as school supplies and will be tax-free during each state’s sales tax holiday period. (Sales tax holidays may not apply to additional county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.)

If you live in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia or Wisconsin (whoo-hoo!) —click the picture below to see which products will be tax-free for each state !  HINT:  TENNESSEE is next up – your weekend is 26 – 28 July!

Important Note: Orders must be placed with Stampin’ Up! during the sales tax holiday period to receive these select items tax free; each period begins—and ends—at midnight (Mountain Time).

  1. Such a pretty card Mary! Love those trees and the tinsel trim. And poor Finn, I can see that he was really struggling to get those dishes done. Ha!

Yes – but could you see the resolve in his eyes? The sheer focus and determination to get the job done. Awfully inspiring! 🙂 Thanks, Amy! 🙂
