Stampin’ Up! Framed Wonderful Floral Romance Thanks!

Happy Happy Hawwmp Day, y’all!  Hope your week is going well!  Mine is…going…with all the usual start-of-test bumps and hiccups.  The jellyfish are swarming and we’re doing our best to herd them into a solid jelly-blob! 🙂

My card today uses the gorgeous, stunning, beautiful Floral Romance Specialty DSP and coordinating Wonderful Romance stamp set!  Then I added a little sentiment from the All Things Thanks set in the Annual Catalog.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one was inspired by the sketch at this week’s Fab Friday challenge!

I started with some Petal Pink card stock and embossed it in the Subtle Dynamic TIEF.  Over the top of it, I adhered a panel of the printed vellum Floral Romance Specialty DSP using Glue Dots.  I hid the Glue Dots under the printed areas and under the portion of the panel that I knew would be covered with the next layer!

The frame is easy-peasy to make using the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits.  I cut a piece of Mossy Meadow with a large die and then, using the die two-sizes-smaller, cut out the center to make the frame!

I used Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere another panel of the Floral Romance Specialty DSP to the back of the frame.  Then I ran the entire thing thru the Big Shot in the Subtle Dynamic TIEF.

I popped that framed vellum over a similar-sized piece of Whisper White card stock, then I adhered the whole thing to the card front with Liquid Glue.

For the sentiment – I first cut a piece of Petal Pink card stock with a small Rectangle Stitched Framelit, embossed it in the Subtle Dynamic TIEF and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

I stamped the All Things Thanks sentiment in Fresh Fig on Whisper White and cut it with the Tailored Tag Punch.  Then I used my Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write Marker to make faux stitches and popped it on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I finished off with a Frosted Flower Embellishment and a bow.  The bow is tied with two lengths of Old Olive Linen Thread and a length of Nature’s Twine – then I adhered it with a Glue Dot and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the leaf image from Wondeful Romance in Tuxedo Black, then colored it with my Light and Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends.  I added some Petal Pink flowers, Fresh Fig splatters and a few dots with my Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write Marker.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Petal Pink mat and into my Sahara Sand card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Wonderful Romance prettiness on the front…

 …and I adhered some Floral Romance Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This Floral Romance is quite possibly my favorite designer paper…ever!  Especially the printed Vellum!  I simply love it!  And the matching Wonderful Romance stamp set is…pretty darned perfect!  I hope you like!
