Stampin’ Up! Happy Grand Detailed Birthday

Good morning, my peeps – so starts another week.  A full one.

Bleh.

If you were able to join me last night for my Facebook Live video, I sure appreciate you spending some of your precious weekend time with me!  If not, but would like to see how we played with the fun new Detailed Birthday Edgelits, here’s the just-like-being-there-LIVE-but-completely-different version on YouTube! 🙂

I decided to play along with the Just Us Girls Word Week challenge – I think it works! 🙂

I started by embossing a panel of Whisper White in the Polka Dot Basics TIEF and then matting it on Pineapple Punch with Liquid Glue.

The birthday presents are made with the new Detailed Birthday Edgelits – cut from Pineapple Punch.

I used some little leftovers of Happiness Blooms DSP and adhered them behind the presents with Liquid Glue.  This is not-so-fussy cutting, so don’t be afraid of it!

I popped the newly decorated gifts over the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment is die cut in Lovely Lipstick with the Happy Birthday Thinlit from the Annual Catalog, then adhered with Liquid Glue.

I added some Night of Navy dots from the Happiness Bloom Enamel Dots and the card front was done!

On the inside, I used my Stamparatus to stamp the big and beautiful sentiment from the new Life is Grand stamp set in Lovely Lipstick on a Whisper White panel.  Then I added a few Calypso Coral Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pineapple Punch mat and into my Lovely Lipstick card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got some Calypso Coral dots using a stamp in the Bloom By Bloom stamp set across the front…

…and a little more Happiness Blooms DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  How fun is this Detailed Birthday Edgelits die set?!?  It works great for birthdays – but…change up the sentiment and the DSP used to create the “wrapping paper” and it would be a great Christmas card, wedding, new baby, or…really any celebratory occasion!  And it would be great for man, woman or child!  And the Life is Grand set – perfect for quick and easy stamp-only cards!!  Hope you like!

P.S.  Yes – I DID find the stamp set.  It was right where it belonged on the shelf.  Cuz…I was looking for HAPPINESS BLOOMS.  But IT’S name is BLOOM BY BLOOM.  So…doh!
