Stampin’ Up! Festive Farmhouse Country Home Sneak Peek

Good Monday, my peeps!  And welcome to the beginning of the end of Mary’s time in SoCal!  Just two weeks left and only a couple of days of the hard stuff.  Looking forward to my alarm not going off at 4am on Wednesday!  Might even do something crazy and not get to work at 7….might slow-roll-in around 8!

gasp…. 🙂

So my card today is a study in sneak peeks of the new 2018 Holiday Catalog (okay – yea – been doing that for a minute, I know!).  This one uses some gorgeous new Festive Farmhouse DSP and a great sentiment from the Country Home stamp set.  These are both available to customers on 5 Sept (and you could also get a sample of the paper in one of my DSP or I Want It All catalog shares!).  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I started with some wonderful plaid paper from the new Festive Farmhouse DSP and matted it on Mossy Meadow card stock for the card front.

I used my Stamparatus to ensure a good image and stamped the sentiment from Country Home in Mossy Meadow on a strip of Very Vanilla card stock.  On the left end of the strip, I added some of the small “tile” images in Cherry Cobbler.  Than I matted the strip on Mossy Meadow and added it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I pulled out my Pretty Pines Thinlits and cut a couple of Mossy Meadow pine boughs.  Then I added them – along with a Copper star from the new Snowflakes & Stars Wire Elements (also in the 2018 Holiday Catalog and available on 5 Sept) – with a few Glue Dots.  Finally, I tied a bow with some Cherry Cobbler Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine and adhered it with a final Glue Dot.  And that was it for the card front!

On the inside, I added a second sentiment from Country Home in Mossy Meadow on a Very Vanilla panel.  Then I stamped the Cherry Cobbler tile image randomly around the panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and into a Thick Very Vanilla card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got another few Country Home tiles in Cherry Cobbler on the front…

…and more of the Festive Farmhouse DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila! Love this Festive Farmhouse paper so much!  And the whole pack is similarly gorgeous!  I believe that Country Home is going to be one of your go-to favorites for the Fall season, too!  I hope you like!
