Stampin’ Up! Colorful Friendly Conversations for the Stamp Ink Paper #160

Good morning, my peeps!  It’s Tuesday and that means it’s time for another fun Stamp Ink Paper challenge!  This week is a color challenge – so I hope you’ll all come play!

I decided to use a fun stamp set called Friendly Conversations – two BIG sentiments and a couple three cute little images – and I set it atop a piece of gorgeous Petal Promenade DSP.  Take a look-see:

The colors for the Challenge #160 are Pink, Mint and Navy!  What will YOU create? 🙂

I started by matting a piece of Petal Promenade DSP on some Night of Navy with Liquid Glue for the card front.  Then, with a few Glue Dots, I looped some Powder Pink 3/8″ Mini Ruffled Ribbon back and forth on the card.

For my big, bold Friendly Conversations sentiment, I used my Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron and Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Markers to color the rubber directly.  I placed the stamp on my Stamparatus first and, after coloring the image, “huffed” on it to re-wet the ink.

I colored the “Always” in Blushing Bride, then matted the panel on Night of Navy and popped it over the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  And, folks?  That was it!  Easy peasy!

On the inside, I stamped a Blushing Bride heart and a few Mint Macaron flourishes – both from Friendly Conversations – on a Whisper White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Night of Navy mat and into my Mint Macaron card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Mint Macaron flourishes and Blushing Bride hearts across the front…

…and a little more of the gorgeous Petal Promenade DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Quick and easy but lots of WOW!!  Love these two large sentiments in the Friendly Conversations set and it’s cool that there are also some complementary images to kick it up a notch!  Hope you like!
