Happy Sunday, y’all! As I type this on Saturday evening we’re wondering if the snow will come this far north. Yes – this far NORTH! They’re calling for SNOW in south Georgia and the Florida panhandle! Which is a Big Deal (if it comes). It usually doesn’t last long, but…I’m sure there’s not a loaf of bread or carton of milk to be found anywhere south of Macon right now! 😉
Today’s card uses a sweet new bundle – the Sunshine & Tulips bundle (from the new Jan-Apr 2026 Mini) – to make a card to send to a friend who might just need to know someone is thinking of them. Take a look-see:
I started by adhering a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White cardstock to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base using Liquid Glue.
Using the large die in the Sunshine & Tulips die set, I cut out a Night of Navy panel.
I wrapped a length of Misty Moonlight ribbon from the Misty Moonlight & White 1/4″ Starter Ribbon Pack around the panel – securing it in the back with Glue Dots.
Then I popped the panel onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Using the dies in the set, I cut out 12 detailed tulips from a piece of Silver Foil. I kept the outline die cut AND the top center negative piece from each die cut.
Using little dabs of Liquid Glue, I adhered the 12 detailed tulips inside the openings of the card front – and then added that center negative piece to each flower.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Sunshine & Tulips sentiment in Night of Navy ink and cut it out with the smallest Textured Notes die.
I popped the sentiment over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I tied a bow around the ribbon (with more of the same ribbon) – added some Hues of Blues Flowers in Misty Moonlight and white and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped another sentiment from Sunshine & Tulips in Night of Navy ink on a Basic White panel. Above it, I stamped the line of tulips in Misty Moonlight.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Misty Moonlight card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got a two-part flower from Sunshine & Tulips in Misty Moonlight on the front…
…and the little line of Misty Moonlight tulips on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! That big Sunshine & Tulips die cut is so stinkin’ pretty! And I love it with the addition of the Silver Foil detailed flowers tucked into the negative spaces, don’t you? It’s a handy set – with the stamp set bringing all the handy sentiments and flowers you need to finish out your projects!
