Happy Sunday, y’all – hope your weekend is going well! For our retreats last week, we all made a card – and then did up “kits” for everyone to make! It’s a fun way to spend a few days – and come home with some beautiful cards!
The card I made is a cool bay window fun fold featuring the Branching Out bundle and sentiments from the Wishing You Joy stamp set. Take a look-see:
I love bay window cards – they’re easy enough to not be intimidating – but cool enough to get a “wow” from whoever opens it up!
I started with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of Pecan Pie cardstock that I scored at 1/4″, 1 1/2″, 3 1/4″, 4 1/2″ and 5 1/2 along the long side.
I started folding at the 5 1/2″ score line – folding it as a mountain. The next score line is a valley – then mountain – mountain – valley (this is the 1/4″ line).
Using Liquid Glue just between the 4 1/2″ and 5 1/2” score lines, I adhered the front of the card base to the back – just in that 1” area. If this sounds familiar – it’s like making a book-fold card! 🙂
I used Liquid Glue to adhere one of the 7/8” x 4 1/8” pieces of Secret Sea Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP to the glued-together section (the book fold section) of the card.
The remaining panels of the bay window got two 1 1/8” x 4 1/8” pieces (in white) and a 1 5/8” x 4 1/8” piece (in Secret Sea on the center panel) of the Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP
I also added a 7/8” x 4 1/8” piece of Secret Sea DSP to a 1” x 4 1/4″ piece of Pecan Pie cardstock.
I adhered that matted 1” x 4 1/4” strip on the back of the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals – keeping the Dimensionals away from the left edge of the strip and leaving room for the 1/4″ piece to slide in and create the “bay window.
On a 3 3/8” x 4 1/8” piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Wishing You Joy sentiment in Cherry Cobbler Ink. Up near the top, I stamped the Branching Out branch in Pecan Pie ink – from the top left of the panel down towards the sentiment.
Then I added the single pine-needle image a few times in Mossy Meadow ink and the pinecones in Pecan Pie ink.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the card base – and added a Cherry Cobbler Faceted Snowflake. Cuz they’re pretty!
I cut out a Basic White sentiment label using the next-to-smallest Branching Out label die. On it – in the bottom right corner, I stamped another Wishing You Joy sentiment in Cherry Cobbler Ink. Then I stamped the Branching Out branch in Pecan Pie ink – from the bottom left of the panel up above the sentiment.

I stamped the single pine-needle image several times in Mossy Meadow ink and a few pinecones in Pecan Pie ink.
I cut out a second-from-smallest Branching Out mat from Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper mat and adhered the sentiment onto it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used some Stampin’ Seal to adhere a length of Secret Sea 3/8” Faux Linen Ribbon to the back of the matted sentiment and then used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the center of the bay window.
I added Cherry Cobbler Faceted Snowflakes to the sentiment panel and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Branching Out branch, pine boughs and pinecones on the front…
…and more of the Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Oh my oh my! This Bay Window fun fold turned out so pretty – thanks to the gorgeous Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP. I love that paper so much. And the Branching Out bundle – from the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini catalog – has all the things – pine images – pine die cuts – and wunnermus labels! For the perfect Christmas sentiment – be sure to grab the Wishing You Joy set (also from the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini)! You’ll be happy you did!
I hope you like!

FUNDRAISER SUPPORTING HURRICANE MELISSA RELIEF EFFORTS!
I’m coming to you – again! – for help for our fellow humans and their pets. What a year we’ve had. 💔 We’ve all been watching as Hurricane Melissa hurtled toward Jamaica and beyond in the Caribbean. The devastation that Cat 5 storm left in her wake is almost beyond words.
Since there’s really nothing most of us can do that is hands-on – I try to help financially. I just made a donation to relief efforts for families and pets thru the Greater Good Organization. As I hit Submit on my small attempt to help, I decided it was time to launch another Fundraiser enlisting the help of my online community of stampers (that’s YOU!).
The Greater Good Organization has multiple programs – all of which help people, pets and the environment. Our donation will be targeted to people and pets (and, my goodness, the need is great!) in Jamaica impacted by the flooding.
So – we’ve done this before, y’all – let’s make our support heard!
How can you help me help them??
Place a Stampin’ Up! Order Thru Me OR Donate Directly!
And – as an added incentive – if we hit our donation goal – $1000 – I’ll be giving away a new Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine to one winner!

I’m setting a goal of donating a total of $1000 – and here’s how you can help me (and be entered to win a new Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine!).
This time, I’m sending our donation in honor of someone. I’ll send the donation on 8 Nov 2025 – which is my Mom’s birthday – she’d have been 90 this year – so…I’ll be placing the donation in honor of her (Kate VanDeVeere) – she was a big giver in her life! 😍
1 – Shop Online: For any orders placed through my online store between now and 7 Nov 2025 (that’s next Friday – so it’s quick!) I’ll be making a targeted donation of 20% of your merchandise total to Greater Good for Hurricane Melissa support.
