Krew Retreat 2025 – Final Session is in the Books! We’ll be BACK For Sure!!

Happy Monday, y’all!  Hope your week is looking good – and that you had a great weekend!

This seemed like a good day to give you a look at our second session of this year’s Krew Retreat.  It was just as fun as the first!

We all got set up in the craft room – Amy did her Vanna White impression!!

Once again – we all made cards that everyone brought for us!

My display was full of gorgeous-ness after 8 days spent with our talented ladies, wasn’t it?!

And – once again! – we ate like Queens, thanks to James’ fine cooking!

But – we did OTHER things, too!

Nicole – from The Signing Stamper – helped James work on his ASL!

Sharon Harris and Marla Jones worked on their scrapbook pages. 🙂

And – on our last full day – Lynn Schmidt and Linda (Pete) Nikolaus pulled out their beading stash and we all made bracelets! It was so fun – some of us even made TWO! 

We did a magazine-worthy photo to show off all our pretties!

But – as ALWAYS happens! – the time came for us to gather up on the porch and have our photo taken to commemorate the occasion!

Since SOME people simply didn’t understand the solemnity of the event…we had to do it twice.

Sheesh! 🤦‍♀️

It’s hard to believe it’s all over – it seems to take forever for the day to come for us to head to the Crafty Elk Lodge – and then…it all goes by in a flash!

As we did with the first group – we promised to do it again next year and…everyone knew we were saying good-bye FOR NOW!  Not for good!  Yeah!

Thanks to ALL the Krew folk who came and helped to make this a super fun time for all!!

FUNDRAISER SUPPORTING HURRICANE MELISSA RELIEF EFFORTS!

I’m coming to you – again! – for help for our fellow humans and their pets.  What a year we’ve had. 💔  We’ve all been watching as Hurricane Melissa hurtled toward Jamaica and beyond in the Caribbean.  The devastation that Cat 5 storm left in her wake is almost beyond words.

Since there’s really nothing most of us can do that is hands-on – I try to help financially.  I just made a donation to relief efforts for families and pets thru the Greater Good Organization.  As I hit Submit on my small attempt to help, I decided it was time to launch another Fundraiser enlisting the help of my online community of stampers (that’s YOU!).

The Greater Good Organization has multiple programs – all of which help people, pets and the environment.  Our donation will be targeted to people and pets (and, my goodness, the need is great!) in Jamaica impacted by the flooding.

So – we’ve done this before, y’all – let’s make our support heard!
