Stampin’ Up! December 2025 Watercolor in Bloom Paper Pumpkin and a Peek at the January Kit!

Good morning and Happy Happy Hawwmp Day, y’all!  AND – happy NEW YEAR’S EVE!!  I don’t know about y’all but…other than listening to our neighbors do fireworks – and occasionally shoot a rifle up in the air (do NOT get me started on the absurdity of THAT practice!) – we barely notice the changing of the year.  Would like to say that we USED to stay up and party and all that but…I’d hate to lie to you!  We sleep right thru it.  Unless I have to get up to go to the bathroom and that happens to coincide with the striking of midnight!! LOL

Yes.  We’re boring ole fuds.  It is what it is! 😉

A little while back, I got my December Watercolor in Bloom Paper Pumpkin kits in the mail.  I’d seen a few photos of what was in the kit, so I made one up right away – and it didn’t disappoint!  It’s gorgeous – in Night of Navy, Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce, Secret Sea and more!  I got nine beautiful thank you cards in a jiff!  Take a look-see:

Look at those beautiful pre-printed card bases – and the envelopes are equally beautiful, as you’ll see in a minute!

I mentioned that I made all of mine into Thank You cards – but…the Watercolor in Bloom stamp set that comes in the kit would also let you make OTHER occasion cards, too – mix and match to your heart’s content – using the included Night of Navy Classic Ink Spot. AND – it has foliage images, too – so you can decorate the insides!

The first card design includes a pretty die cut vellum oval for the front of the tone-on-tone leafy card base – plus a gold-foil embellished oval for the sentiment.  I used two sentiments on this one.  Love the pretty die cut flowers, don’t you?  And – there’s a peek at that envelope I mentioned!

I did a little something on the inside of ALL the cards – stamping a Night of Navy leaf on this one.  And – this is a most awful photo – what WAS I doing?! 🤦‍♀️

The next design called for some additional stamping on the pre-printed panel and then the addition of a sentiment – again Thank You – and some sweet little die cut flowers and vellum leaves.

And – I added a second sentiment with the leaves on the inside of this one!  See?  You can do a lot with this stamp set!  Boom!

The final design was my fave – I loved stamping the extra foliage and all the additional vellum and die cut leaves.  Again, I used two sentiments!

For this one, I once again just added some leaves on the inside.

All in all – this is a really stunning kit – the colors are SO rich and elegant – and there’s plenty of layering to make my collage-y heart very happy! 🙂
