Stampin’ UP! Gathering Thanks Triple Panel Z-Fold Card with Video for Creative Creases #109

Good morning and happy Friday! Hope you’ve had a good week – and have something fun planned for the weekend!  For us – we’re going to Juliette’s 4th birthday party tomorrow – so that’s going to be fun, for sure! Although, not sure how she got to be FOUR already!  🤦‍♀️

My card today is a cool new (to me) fun fold – it’s a Triple Panel Z-Fold card and I first saw it at our retreat – my friend Susan Kuenzel brought a pretty Christmas version for us to make.  I dressed mine for Fall – with the wunnermus Online Exclusives Gathering Moments bundle and coordinating Gathering Together DSP – for a pretty thank you card.  Take a look-see:

You’ll see this card – along with the other Design Team members’ cards –  at this month’s Creative Creases Challenge! 😎 We’re ALWAYS wanting to see pretty fun folds so…I hope hope hope you’ll make one (or three!) and come share them with us! 🙂

I played along with this month’s Card Concept challenge.  I’d call this an Elegant & Classy card – based on their definitions! 🙂

I started with a 5 1/2″ x 7 1/4″ piece of Early Espresso cardstock that I scored at 4 1/4″ and 5 3/4″ on the long side.  I folded it as a “Z” – with the two smaller panels on the left.

The three Z-panel strips are Basic Beige cardstock.  To save a little scoring time – I started with a 4 1/2″ x 7 1/4″ piece of cardstock.   On the long side, I scored the panel at 4 1/4″ and 5 3/4″.

Then I turned the panel 90 degrees – putting the short end at the top of the trimmer.  From there – I cut three 1 1/2″ wide strips. By doing all the scoring first – the strips are ready to fold right away!

I folded the strips into “Z’s” – but for these – the shorter panels go on the RIGHT.

I cut strips of Gathering Together DSP and adhered them to the Basic Beige cardstock strips.  If you want to see how to keep a continuous pattern…continuous…then take a gander at the video linked down below.  I show you how to do that there! 🙂

With the DSP in place, I used Liquid Glue to adhere the long ends of the strips to the first short panel of the card base.  I added the top and bottom strips first – and then added the middle strip.  That’s a good way to ensure that things are spaced evenly!

Using Sponge Daubers, I lightly added Crushed Curry ink to the center of a leaf stamp from the Gathering Moments set.  I added Cajun Craze around the edges with another Sponge Dauber – and then stamped it in the corner of a Very Vanilla panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere it to the back of the card base.

On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I used the Sponge Daubers again to add Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze ink.  It was just randomly added to the cardstock to make some colored paper – from which I cut out a leaf using the large Gathering Moments die (and the inside “stitching” die) to cut out a large leaf.

I used the large outline leaf die again – this time to cut out a big, solid leaf from Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper.

Using Liquid Glue – carefully, to avoid gluing the card base shut! – I adhered the two leaves to the card front. Note: make sure that they don’t extend past the edges of the card front!

On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the same small leaf that I’d used on the back – again coloring it with the Sponge Daubers in Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze inks.  I also stamped the pecan image twice in Early Espresso ink.  Then I cut them out with the dies in the Gathering Moments set.

I used another small die to cut out a branch from Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper.

Using Liquid Glue – I adhered the die cuts over the two large leaves on the front.

I tied a simple bow from two lengths of Early Espresso Linen Thread and adhered it with a little Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped a Gathering Moments sentiment in Pecan Pie ink.  I cut it out with a Stylish Shapes label die and adhered it over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some Cajun Craze & Gold Dots and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Gathering Moments leaf on the front…

…and more of the Gathering Together DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This is one of the prettiest Fall suites – I love the Gathering Moments bundle – those large-as-life leaves are lovely!  And the Gathering Moments DSP has all the things I love about Fall!  This cool Triple Panel Z-Fold card is a great way to showcase it ALL!

FUNDRAISER SUPPORTING HURRICANE MELISSA RELIEF EFFORTS ENDS TONIGHT!

I’m coming to you – again! – for help for our fellow humans and their pets.  What a year we’ve had. 💔  We’ve all been watching as Hurricane Melissa hurtled toward Jamaica and beyond in the Caribbean.  The devastation that Cat 5 storm left in her wake is almost beyond words.

Since there’s really nothing most of us can do that is hands-on – I try to help financially.  I made my own donation to relief efforts for families and pets thru the Greater Good Organization.  As I hit Submit on my small attempt to help, I decided it was time to launch another Fundraiser enlisting the help of my online community of stampers (that’s YOU!).

The Greater Good Organization has multiple programs – all of which help people, pets and the environment.  Our donation will be targeted to people and pets (and, my goodness, the need is great!) in Jamaica impacted by the flooding.

So – we’ve done this before, y’all – let’s make our support heard!

How can you help me help them??

Place a Stampin’ Up! Order Thru Me OR Donate Directly!

And – as an added incentive  –  I’m going to give away a new Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine to one winner!  I set a goal of raising $1000 and…WE DID IT!

Even though we hit the goal – there’s still time to add to our donation amount AND get entered to win a new Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine!

I’m sending our donation in honor of someone.  I’ll send the donation on 8 Nov 2025 – which is my Mom’s birthday – she’d have been 90 this year – so…I’ll be placing the donation in honor of her (Kate VanDeVeere) – she was a big giver in her life! 😍

1 – Shop Online: For any orders placed through my online store between now and 7 Nov 2025 (that’s next Friday – so it’s quick!) I’ll be making a targeted donation of 20% of your merchandise total to Greater Good for Hurricane Melissa support.

  • 20% of orders placed through my online store between now and 7 Nov 2025 will be donated to Greater Good – targeted to Hurricane Melissa relief efforts.  I’ll send the donation tomorrow –  8 Nov 2025 – which is my Mom’s birthday – she’d have been 90 this year – so…I’ll be placing the donation in honor of her (Kate VanDeVeere) – she was a big giver in her life! 😍
  • Anyone ordering $50+ will be entered to win a new Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine from me to be given away on 8 Nov 2025.

OR….

2 – Make a Donation of $50+ directly to Greater Good at this link.

  • For those in the US, send me a screenshot (to Mary@StampsNLingers.com) of the receipt for your donation of $50+ to Greater Good and you’ll be entered to win the new Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine* to be given away on 8 Nov 2025! See the details below.

OR….

3 – Do BOTH!!

  • If you order $50+ through my Stampin’ Up! store AND donate at least $50 directly to Greater Good, then your name will be entered TWICE to win the machine!

Please note: Per Stampin’ Up! rules, I’m only allowed to ship the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to addresses in the United States or military APO addresses.  Only those with US/APO shipping addresses will be eligible to win the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Anyone outside the US is welcome to donate but will not be eligible to win the machine.

NOTE: Orders and/or Donations must be placed by midnight MOUNTAIN Time TONIGHT –  7 November 2025 –  to be entered to win the machine.

One winner of the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine will be randomly chosen on Saturday, 8 November 2025 from all of the entries received.

Let’s pull together one more time and…send some help to folks and the animals who need it pretty desperately!

Last week, while waiting for her plane, Amy THOUGHT she was going to get some work done on her laptop.

Addy had other plans for her lap.

Been there, Amy.  She’s hard to resist!
