Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop! Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is Giving Thanks! Be sure to check out everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!
So…I spent some time thinking about doing a Fall card – but…I kept landing on the new Big Little Things stamp set – with the cute manatee (the image that made me buy it!) – which is coming soon in the November Online Exclusives. I added some pretty Florals in Bloom DSP – and put it on a cool Embossed Designs Mix & Match Specialty card. Take a look-see:
This card started with a pretty Embossed Designs Mix & Match Card (with the matching envelope!). With it’s tone-on-tone embossed stripes – the card gives you a leg-up from the jump!
I adhered a 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ piece of Summer Splash 2024-2026 In Color 6″ x 6″ DSP to the card front with Liquid Glue.
Next is a 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ piece of Florals in Bloom DSP – also adhered with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the manatee from the Big Little Things set (available on 4 November in the new Online Exclusives) in stamped-off-once Secret Sea ink.
Using the largest Nested Essentials banner die, I cut out the image – leaving room for my planned sentiment.
I stamped the sentiment from Big Little Things in Secret Sea ink.
I put a couple stripes of Stampin’ Seal on the back of the die cut banner and used it to adhere a loop-d-loop of Cloud Cover 3/8″ Faux Linen Ribbon.
Then I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Summer Splash 2024-2026 In Color Flat Pearls and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped another Big Little Things sentiment in Secret Sea ink. In the corner, I stamped the manatee in stamped-off-once Secret Sea ink. Then I added a few more Summer Splash 2024-2026 In Color Flat Pearls – and the card was done!
The coordinating Embossed Designs Mix & Match Envelope got the stamped-off-once Secret Sea Big Little Things manatee on the front…
..and it comes with the tone-on-tone embossed stripes on the flap so…nothing to do there! 🙂
Et Voila! And there you have it – quick and easy and oh-so-fun! I think this Big Little Things stamp set is so cute – with the manatee (my fave!), a panda, hippy-potamus and heffalump, too – plus cute sentiments! I know you’re going to want it come 4 November! 🙂
