Today’s card is a sneak peek at TWO new bundles, a new Designer Series Paper and a new Embossing Folder! These are goodies in the November Online Exclusives and available NOW to demonstrators (even to new demos filling up their Starter Kits!) and on 4 November to customers! It’s got the Swirled Designs die bundle – an all image set – and the Banner Sayings punch bundle – an all sentiments set! I paired them together to make this birthday card – atop some new Hobby Haven Specialty DSP. Take a look-see:
The layout was inspired by the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week!
I started with some pretty new Hobby Haven Specialty DSP – this is such fun paper! It’s got 10 pages of pretty DSP – plus two full pages of pre-cut die cut images revolving around reading, sewing, knitting. cooking, art and even relaxing at a spa! So fun!
Anywho…I matted the selected piece on Petal Pink for the card front.
I embossed a narrow Basic White panel in the new Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder, matted it on Petal Pink and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I cut out of bunch of shapes from the new Swirled Designs die set in Petal Pink, Lost Lagoon, Daffodil Delight and Basic White cardstocks.
I set the design by adhering the large Daffodil Delight star to the middle of the embossed panel with Liquid Glue. Next I added the Lost Lagoon and Petal Pink diamond outlines on the two ends.
I added the diamond “negatives” pieces with Stampin’ Dimensionals. To them, I adhered the Basic White die cut leaves with Liquid Glue.
I adhered the little flowers – and the small star outlines – with Liquid Glue – and added the solid small stars with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped a Banner Sayings sentiment in Lost Lagoon ink. Then I punched it out with the two-ended banner in the bundled Three Banner Punch.
I popped the sentiment onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finally – they’re not just for Halloween! – I added some white Shimmer Star Foam Stickers and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped another Banner Sayings sentiment in Lost Lagoon ink on a Basic White panel. Then I stamped some flowers (in Petal Pink) and some stars (in Daffodil Delight) from the Swirled Designs set.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel inside my Daffodil Delight card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Swirled Designs stars and flowers on the front…
…and more Hobby Haven Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! So – these new Online Exclusives (available 4 Nov) are perfect together, aren’t they?! The Swirled Designs bundle – with all the fun die cuts and coordinating images – lends so much fun to your projects. It needs a sentiment, though, and the Banner Sayings punch bundle is….the perfect pick! I love this new punch – with three different banners to choose from – plus all the right-sized sentiments you need! And – we’re ALL about the hobbies, right? So…the Hobby Haven Specialty DSP is sorta perfect for us and it doesn’t hurt that it’s bright, cheerful and FUN!!
