My card today is a pretty Autumn Amber thank you card! I added an Exposed Brick 3D Embossed arch – with a peek-a-boo look at some Autumn Toile DSP. Take a look-see:
This one fits right in with the Just Us Girls challenge.
I started off by adhering a piece of pumpkin-patch-strewn paper from the Autumn Toile DSP to the front of an Early Espresso card base using Liquid Glue.
For the card front, I ran a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Early Espresso cardstock thru the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with the 7th Everyday Arches die in place in the center – to cut out a window.
I embossed the panel in the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
Using the 7th and 8th Everyday Arches dies…
…to cut out an Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper frame. Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the frame to the arch on the card front. Then I popped it onto the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Using the largest Stylish Shapes circle die, I cut out a Very Vanilla circle and added it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used Stampin’ Seal + to adhere a loop-d-loop of Timid Tiger 3/8″ Faux Linen Ribbon to the circle die cut.
On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the Amber Autumn image in Early Espresso ink.
Using Stampin’ Blends – I colored the image:
– Large pumpkin – Light & Dark Balmy Blue
– Small pumpkin – Light Peach Pie and Light Timid Tiger
– Gourd – Light & Dark Lemon Lolly
– Corn – Light Darling Duckling
– Stems – Light Pecan Pie
– Leaves – Light & Dark Old Olive
I used the coordinating die from the Amber Autumn set to cut out the image. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals near the middle of the die cut, I adhered it over the ribbon.
I used my fave grasses die from the Amber Autumn set to cut out three grass die cuts from Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper.
Using Liquid Glue, I tucked the three grass dies under the large die cut.
On a piece of Very Vanilla, I stamped the Amber Autumn sentiment in Early Espresso and cut it out with a Stylish Shapes banner die.
I adhered the sentiment with Liquid Glue, added three new Streaked Dots – and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the Amber Autumn image in Early Espresso in the corner of a Very Vanilla panel and colored it with the same Stampin’ Dimensionals that I used on the front!
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Early Espresso card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the stamped and colored Amber Autumn image on the front…
…and more of the Autumn Toile DSP on the envelope flap.
