Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop! Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is Fall Frenzy! Be sure to check out everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!
Fall will make its big debut in the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog so I went there and pulled out the new Autumn Toile Suite for today’s card! I used some of the Autumn Toile DSP – ONE of the two coordinating bundles in the Suite – the Amber Autumn bundle – plus…pretty much everything ELSE in the suite to make today’s thank you card. Take a look-see:
I did a quick video on how to make this pretty card, which is posted on Instagram. If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!
I started by adhering a piece of the Autumn Toile DSP (available on 3 Sept!) to the front of an Early Espresso card base using Liquid Glue.
Using the big background die in the Amber Autumn die set (also coming on 3 Sept) I cut out the center of a Pecan Pie card front panel.
Using Black Stampin’ Dimensionals – I popped the die cut panel onto the front of the card. Note: I made some long “strips” of black dimensional by cutting the edges off the Dimensional sheet to use on the edges of the die cut – it worked perfectly! 🙂
I snipped a banner into one end of a strip of striped Autumn Toile DSP and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
Using Stampin’ Seal +, I adhered a loop-d-loop bow of new Irregular Weave 3/8″ Trim (part of the suite – available on 3 Sept) to the DSP strip.
With the largest Stylish Shapes circle die – I cut out a pumpkin-y scene from the Autumn Toile DSP – and popped it onto the card front with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut out two leaves – using the Amber Autumn dies – one from Mossy Meadow cardstock and one from new Earthen Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (coming 3 Sep) – and adhered them with Liquid Glue.
I tied a bow with a length of Old Olive Linen Thread (from the Early Espresso & Old Olive Linen Thread pack – coming 3 Sept) and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
I stamped an Amber Autumn sentiment in Cajun Craze on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, cut it out with a Stylish Shapes banner die, and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Using one more part of the new suite – I added three new Streaked Dots and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped another Amber Autumn sentiment in Cajun Craze ink on a Very Vanilla panel. In the corner, I stamped an image from Amber Autumn in Early Espresso ink.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Early Espresso card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Amber Autumn image in Early Espresso ink on the front…
…and more of the Autumn Toile DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Well – here’s another beautiful Fall suite for you! This is a SUPER Suite – meaning it has TWO bundles in it – the Amber Autumn set that I used here – and the Autumn Trees set – which I’m SURE you’ll see soon! The Autumn Toile DSP sets the autumnal colors for the Suite – and it has a nice group of embellishments – like the Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper, Irregular Weave 3/8″ Trim and pretty Streaked Dots. All ready to help you make awesome Fall-themed cards!
I hope you like!
