Stampin’ Up! Textured Woven Notes Thank You Card

Happy Tuesday, y’all!  I hope you’re having a great week!  Just an update – today’s the final day to help me make a sweet donation to Greater Good to benefit the folks in the Kerrville area – who just had MORE flooding! 🥺 – AND to get your name in the hat for the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine!  We HAVE already hit our $1000 goal – YEAH US!! – but I’ve put another challenge out!  If we hit $2000 – I’m adding a SECOND Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine to the pot!  We’re getting really close…so…fingers crossed that I am ordering TWO Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machines tomorrow!! 🙂

My card today needs a die-cutting machine – maybe a new Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine?? – to cut out Stylish Shapes circles!  Which I did – then paired them with the Textured Notes stamp set and some gorgeous Woven Textures DSP to make this pretty thank you card.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge.

I did a quick video on how to make this pretty card, which is posted on Instagram.  If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!

I started with a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of Mossy Meadow Two-Toned Cardstock.  On it, I stamped the smaller leaf image from Textured Notes all over in Old Olive Ink.  Then I tore one short edge off – bringing the panel down to about 4 1/2″ long.

I took a 1 1/4″ x 3 7/8″ piece of Cajun Craze Two-Toned Cardstock – and tore the edge of it, too.  Then I used Liquid Glue to adhere it to the back of the Mossy Meadow panel and to a Pecan Pie mat to create the card front.

Using the second-from-largest Stylish Shapes circle die, I cut out a circle from two pieces of the Woven Textures DSP and adhered them to the card front using Liquid Glue.

On a piece of linen-look Woven Textures DSP, I stamped the round wicker image from Textured Notes in stamped-off-once Pecan Pie ink.  Using the second-from-largest Stylish Shapes circle die again, I cut out the image.

I stamped the Textured Notes sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink on the circle.

On the same linen-look Woven Textures DSP that I used for the sentiment, I stamped the larger leaf image from Textured Notes in Mossy Meadow ink and cut it out with Paper Snips.

I adhered the fussy-cut leaves to the card front with Liquid Glue – then popped the sentiment on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a bow from two lengths of Linen Thread and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

I added three Pressed Flower Motifs and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped the small leaf twice in Mossy Meadow ink in the corner of a panel of that same linen-look Woven Textures DSP.  Then I added a few of the Pressed Flower Motifs.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pecan Pie mat and into the card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Textured Notes leaves on the front…

…and more of the Woven Textures DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Textured Notes has been one of my faves since it was released and so, obviously, was the Woven Textures DSP!  And – they still are!   When you bring them together like I’ve done with the card – you get “all the things” in one spot!  And – I really like how the Two-Toned Cardstock added one more element of texture with those torn edges, don’t you?!

I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix

Last night she was trying to stuff the banana under the rocking chair.

She was unsuccessful.

Poor thing – her ear’s still all mussed from the effort!
