Stampin’ Up! Textured Artistic Leaves Hello Sweet Friend Card with Video

Good morning, all! Hope you’re having a good weekend!  Just a note – we’re over 60% of the way to hitting our Fundraiser goal – I feel good about hitting $1000 and helping a lot of people and pets in Texas!!  Yeah us!  Oh – and also getting a brand new Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine into someone’s hands! That’s what I’d call a win-win-situation!!  Oh – and I found a way (from a friend in that neck of the woods) for folks who might be wanting to lend a more…physical…hand!  Check down below in the Fundraiser Section! 🙂

My card today is really easy.  I mean – it DOES call for some fussy cutting but…it’s easy fussy cutting.  No – that is NOT an oxymoron! 🙂 This is another one with the gorgeous new Artistic Leaves stamp set – and some wunnermus Woven Textures DSP.  Take a look-see:

I started by adhering three strips of Woven Textures DSP to a Pecan Pie mat using Liquid Glue.. Tip: adhere the two outside strips first – establishing your normal reveal on the sides.  Then split the difference with the middle strip! 😉

I used the next-to-largest Stylish Shapes circle die to cut out a linen-look piece of the Woven Textures DSP.  I stamped it a few times in Timid Tiger ink using the splatters image in the Artistic Leaves set.

Then I adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the large leaf image – the first step in Cajun Craze and the second stamp in Timid Tiger (wunnermus Fall color combo!!) – and the small leaf three times.  That two-step leaf is in Mossy Meadow and Granny Apple Green!

I used scissors to fussy cut all four leaves.

Using Stampin’ Seal +, I adhered a loop-d-loop of Timid Tiger 3/8″ Faux Linen Ribbon.

Over it, I adhered the large leaf with Stampin’ Dimensionals – keeping them near the center of the leaf.  Then I tucked the green leaves in amongst the collage – adhering them with Liquid Glue.

I tied a simple bow from two lengths of Linen Thread and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

On a strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Artistic Leaves sentiment in Pecan Pie ink.  I adhered it over the Linen Thread bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added seven Adhesive-backed Textured Dots and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the large Artistic Leaves image in Cajun Craze and Timid Tiger on a Basic White panel.  I added the splatters a couple times in Timid Tiger ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Timid Tiger card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Artistic Leaves leaf and splatters on the front…

…and more of the Woven Textures DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Once again – the wunnermus Woven Textures DSP proves its worth in EVERY crafter’s space!  And – while “I have SOO many leaves” may be true… “Too many” leaves?!  That’s just not a thing!  Artistic Leaves (an Online Exclusive!) combines pretty two-step leaves with great sentiments for a do-all stamp set you’re going to want on your shelf!

Such a pretty fall card! Love the layering and your leaves are beautiful! Poor girl, she’s just trying to help. 😉

Thanks so much, Amy! And oh yes – she’s quite the helper! 🙂

Mary, you make the most beautifullest cards! My set came by UPS but I wasn’t home to pick it up so I had a neighbor’s son pick it up for me. I won’t get it until next week because I’m house/pet sitting for my daughter while she’s in NY waiting for her daughter to deliver her first baby Ottavia (Otto). Exciting times! Have a blessed day.

Well – congratulations, Grammy!! :). That’s awesome news. And something to look forward to when you get home! Thanks so much! 🙂
