Stampin’ Up! Kintsugi Imperfections Thank You Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

The color palette today made me think Kintsugi Inspirations so – I went with that!  I pulled out the coordinating Inspiring Imperfections bundle and the uber-cool Joined Together 3D Embossing Folder to create a serene thank you card.  Take a look-see:

I am betting you can guess our color challenge? 🙂

I also pulled some elements from the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge this week. I went down the middle and right columns!

I started by embossing a Cloud Cover panel in the Joined Together 3D Embossing Folder and adhering it to the front of a Cloud Cover card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the next-to-largest Stylish Shapes circle die, I cut out a Cloud Cover circle and adhered it with Liquid Glue.  Then I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere a length of Basic Beige 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon to the circle.

I used the vase die in the Inspiring Imperfections die set to cut out a vase from Basic Beige cardstock and embossed it in the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.  Then I adhered it over the ribbon with Liquid Glue.

I used two dies in the set – the vase and the tea cup – to cut out a…vase and tea cup! 🤷‍♀️ – from the Kintsugi Inspirations Specialty DSP.  I adhered the vase with Liquid Glue.

I cut out two Inspiring Imperfections branches from Basic Beige – a small and a large.  And I cut out two large and two small Inspiring Imperfections floral sprays from Petal Pink cardstock.  Using Liquid Glue – I adhered a large and a small spray to the large Basic Beige branch and the remaining small floral spray to the small Basic Beige branch.  Then I tucked both branches under the vase – securing them with Liquid Glue.

Using Stampin’ Dimensionals near the middle of the die cut tea cup, I adhered it to the card front.  I tucked the final large Inspiring Imperfections floral spray in behind the cup using Liquid Glue.

I cut out a floral image from the Kintsugi Inspirations Specialty DSP – there’s a die for that, too! – and used some Dimensionals under the flower to adhere it – tucking the stem under the tea cup.

I inked just “thanks” on the sentiment from Inspiring Imperfections in Misty Moonlight and stamped it on Basic Beige cardstock.  Then I cut it out with the banner die from the Inspiring Imperfections Die Set and adhered it with a little Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to the flower sprays and some Cloud Cover 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped the Inspiring Imperfections flower in Basic Beige ink on a Basic White panel and lightly colored it with a Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Cloud Cover card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Inspiring Imperfections flower on the front…

…and a piece of Kintsugi Inspirations Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I love the texture on this tone-on-tone card – thanks to the Joined Together 3D Embossing Folder – don’t you?  And the Inspiring Imperfections set is cool AND beautiful!  Once again Stampin’ UP! has given us dies that cut out pretty images from our wunnermus DSP – like the gorgeous Kintsugi Inspirations Specialty DSP!
