Stampin’ UP! Everyday Arches Adventure Together with Video Tutorial

Good morning, y’all and…happy Friday!  Hope you’ve got something fun planned for the weekend.  I think we’re going to go down on Sunday to Matt and Katelyn’s for a little First Birthday party for Bowen!  I THINK.  It’s a long way down and back and…it’s a bit hard to get back in time to feed the pony and the pooch!  But…gonna try.  Maybe.  Yes – decision making IS my super power!! 😂🤦‍♀️

My card today is a play on a card sample from Stampin’ UP!  It uses the Adventure Together and Everyday Arches bundles to send a sweet hello.  And the Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ DSP is a super pretty focal point.  These are ALL Online Exclusives (so – don’t be looking for them in a catalog!).  Take a look-see:

I started by tearing both long edges of a 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock – the final size ended up being about 3″ x 5 1/2″.

Then I adhered it to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On another piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock, I stamped five pine trees from the Adventure Together stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink.  I stamped three large and two small trees and cut them out with the coordinating dies in the bundled Adventure Together die set.

Using the third-from-largest Everyday Arches die, I cut out a piece of Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ DSP.

Using the images in the Adventure Together set, I stamped three Mossy Meadow trees and the moon-and-stars image in Misty Moonlight on the DSP arch.  Note: I stamped the moon-and-stars twice – once using the entire image and the second time just part of it, leaving the moon out.  Two moons…not something you want to see here on Earth! 🙂

I adhered two of the large die-cut trees with Liquid Glue – one on each end of the card.  Then, putting the arch in place, I used it as a guide to adhere the third large tree (on the left side of the arch) with Liquid Glue.  I adhered both small trees with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I adhered the arch in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a double-loop Linen Thread bow and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Everyday Arches sentiment in Misty Moonlight, cut it out with the smallest Everyday Arches die and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added three dragonflies from the Adhesive-backed Dragonflies & Birds pack and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped the large and small Adventure Together trees in Mossy Meadow ink on a Basic White panel.  Then I added the stars-and-moon image in Misty Moonlight ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Adventure Together trees, stars and moon on the front…

…and more of the Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I really like the images in the Adventure Together bundle – and I didn’t use even half of them!  The camper and camping images are still waiting! And, Everyday Arches – what can I say?!  It’s super versatile – with sentiments for lots of uses.  Hey – if you don’t need/want a “hello” card – the “thanks” sentiment from the set fits that same small Everyday Arches die cut, too! Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ DSP is simply stunning – and don’t be afraid to stamp it and make it even stunning-er!! 🙂
