Happy Happy Hawwmp Day, y’all! And happy Thanksgiving-Eve! I hope you’re all ready for tomorrow and, if you’re traveling, be safe!! We’re hunkered down – again! – for snow here in the CO rockies!
My card today is another pretty creation from my friend Judi Hartbarger! She pulled a sentiment from the Courage & Faith stamp set and paired it with gorgeous Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP! Take a look-see:
To start this card, a 2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock was embossed in the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder and adhered to the front of a Very Vanilla card base, about 1/8″ from the left side of the card front, with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, a panel of beautiful Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP was adhered – about 1/8″ from the right side of the card front. Note: there’s a little overlap of the embossed Very Vanilla panel.
The Courage & Faith sentiment is stamped in Copper Clay ink on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Then it was cut out using the Next-to-Largest Nested Essentials label die. It’s matted – using Liquid Glue – on a Copper Clay mat cut with the next smallest Nested Essentials die.
A length of Copper Clay Natural Tones Linen Thread was wrapped around the matted sentiment three times and secured with a bow. Tip – you can use a little dab of Liquid Glue (or a Glue Dot if that’s easier for you!) on the back to help keep the bow/thread from slipping around!
The sentiment is adhered to the card front with more Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Copper Clay Earth Tones Shimmer Gems finished off the card front.
The inside of the card got a sentiment from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in Copper Clay on a Very Vanilla panel. In the corner is a leaf from the Courage & Faith set, in Copper Clay. A strip of the Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP is adhered across the bottom with Liquid Glue.
The matted panel is adhered to the inside of the Very Vanilla card base to complete the card!
The front of the Basic White Medium Envelope got the Courage & Faith leaf in Copper Clay on the front – and more of the Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap!
Et Voila! Super simple – but with a lot of impact thanks to the pretty sentiment and foliage from the Courage & Faith stamp set. The Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP is stunning and perfect for so MANY of your projects!

Hey, y’all! Well – made it home safely and Finn met me at the airport. Well – Wayne drove him. Which seemed like the right thing to do! 🙂 He got out of the van on the leash and we said our first hello’s while Wayne loaded suitcases. No pics of that meeting – had a pretty solid lap-full! Let’s just say there wasn’t a lot of makeup left on! I did get a couple of fun shots on the way home, though…
Once we got home, he had a little lunch and then…crashed. Homecoming is exhausting for a guy!
But, he had to change it up a little so he could keep an eye on me…
Good to be home, y’all! 🙂
