Happy Sunday, y’all! I hope your weekend is going well! It’s Fall in the south and that’s a wonderful thing! A few weeks of the nicest weather you can ask for – I am hoping and praying that NC and FL are getting some of it, too!
My card today is a perfect one for making multiples – which is certainly something that I know a lot of you will really like as we head hard and fast into Christmas-card-sending season! I used the Reindeer Fun stamp set and Decorative Trees dies – plus some holly strewn Reindeer Days DSP (you could make 12 of these with just one pack of this paper – boom!). Take a look-see:
Told ya! So…buckle-up, buttercup!
I started by adhering that holly-paper from Reindeer Days DSP to a Real Red mat using Liquid Glue. Note – you can use other paper – just look for small-pattern DSPs – with small images. Big things will get sort of lost on this card.
I die cut the large tree using the Decorative Trees die from the center of a smaller piece of Basic White cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment from Reindeer Fun in Real Red. I liked it offset – but if you’d prefer it centered – you can do that instead! 🙂
Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I adhered the panel over the card front and…yup. The card front was done!
For the inside, I stamped a second Reindeer Fun sentiment in Real Red ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the little holly image from the set in Garden Green and stamped the berries in Real Red.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Thick Basic White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Reindeer Fun holly on the front…
…and more of the Reindeer Days DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Isn’t it amazing what one die cut – from Decorative Trees – and a couple of stamped sentiments from the Reindeer Fun set – plus wunnermus Reindeer Days DSP – can do? And how FAST it can do it!? This isn’t my normal kind of card but…boy – do I love it!
