Stampin’ Up! Splendid Autumn Expressions Sneak Peek Thank You Card with Video

Good morning and – happy Friday!  Hope your week has been good and that your weekend looks promising, too!!

I couldn’t wait even one more minute to break into one of the beautiful new suites – the Splendor of Autumn Suite (coming on 4 Sept in the Sep-Dec 2024 Mini Catalog!) with its Splendor of Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP with the same name – and the Autumn Expression bundle.  In fact, I used ALL the products in that suite!!  Take a look-see:

And yes – if you watched my Pre-Order Reveal Video – I suspect you figured out this would be the first suite and the first DESIGN in the paper that I used – I just love it!  🙂  Didn’t see that video?  You can check it out right here!

For this one, I started by using Liquid Glue to adhere a panel of that stunning sunflower-strewn Splendor of Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP to the front of my Wild Wheat card base.

Using the frame die in the Autumn Expression set, I cut out an Early Espresso frame.  Since I only needed half of it – I snipped it apart at the middle “hinge”.

I decided to “antique” the frame a little – using a piece of sponge to dab-dab-dab some gold Metallic Enamel Effects.  Then I did a little less dab-dab-ing with the copper Effects.  And set it aside to dry.

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from Autumn Expression in Cajun Craze ink.

And then – brace yourself! – I used Paper Snips to cut it out!!

By the time I got the sentiment cut out, the “antiqued” die cut frame was dry, so I used Liquid Glue to adhere it to the card front.

I used Stampin’ Seal+ to adhere a loop-d-doo of new Wild Wheat 3/8″ Woven Rustic Ribbon (part of the Suite and available on 4 Sept!).  Once it was in place, I added Glue Dots – kind of a lot of them, actually – to be sure it was well-adhered to the card front (my leaves and sentiment are adhered to the ribbon in a couple spots – so…it needs to be secure!).

I used Glue Dots to adhere a couple of the new – and GORGEOUS!! – Woven Golden Leaves to the card front.

Using the dies in the Autumn Expression set, I cut out some Mossy Meadow, Wild Wheat and Cajun Craze leaves.  I set the fussy cut sentiment in place and used it as a guide to adhere the leaves – using Glue Dots.

With the leaves secure, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals – some single and some double-stacked – to adhere the sentiment over the ribbon and leaves.

I added some new Faux Glass Dots  (these are in the suite – coming on 4 Sept – and they’re gorgeous in Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, Copper Clay and Wild Wheat!!) and the card front was done!

For the inside, I used the pretty wheat grass image from Autumn Expression in Wild Wheat to stamp a couple times (twice in full-strength and once in stamped-off-once ink) in the corner of a Basic White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Wild Wheat card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Autumn Expression wheat grass on the front…

…and some Splendor of Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP – with a few wheat grasses stamped in Wild Wheat – on the envelope flap.

 

Et Voila!  Oh.  My.  Goodness!  Between the amaze-balls Splendor of Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP (you’ll get 48 beautiful sheets in the pack!!)….

 

 

..and the wunnermus Autumn Expression bundle with its big, beautiful sentiments, pretty images and so-cool dies…

 

 

…it’s going to be a CROWD FAVORITE, of that I am certain sure!! 🙂
