Stampin’ Up! Unbounded Flowers of Beauty Birthday for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

The color challenge sent me right to the Unbounded Beauty DSP – and the coordinating Flowers of Beauty and Unbounded Love bundles.  I ended up not needing the great frame dies in the Unbounded Love set – but…the rest of it got a workout on this birthday card!  Take a look-see:

And – can you guess our color challenge!? 🙂

I also picked some elements from this week’s Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. Foliage – free – Green; Die Cuts – Free – Sentiment; Layers – free – Flowers

I started by using the largest Stylish Shapes circle die to cut out a hole from the middle of a card-front-sized piece of cardstock.  I used some sticky notes to secure it in place over the “real”  Basic White card front.

Using a Small Blending Brush, I added Summer Splash ink around the outer part of the circle.

Then I added Peach Pie in the center – like a “glow”.  Around the very outer edge – I added Shy Shamrock to add a little depth.

When I picked up mask – here’s what it looked like!

In the corner – can a circle HAVE a corner?? 🤔 – I stamped the Unbounded Love sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Then I matted the panel on Peach Pie cardstock to make the card front.

I used the dies in the Flowers of Beauty set to cut out a Basic Black and a Pretty In Pink 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer Paper leaf.

With Liquid Glue, I adhered the black die cut to the card front.  Then I added the glimmer paper die cut – offsetting it a little so that there’s a little “shadow”.

I die cut some flowers – using the die in Unbounded Love to cut out seven Basic White flowers.

I adhered the flowers with small pieces of Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added Petunia Pop “centers” with 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems.

I tied a simple bow with two lengths of Basic White Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

Finally, I added some Shy Shamrock 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped one of the foliage images in Tuxedo Black Memento ink in the corner of a Basic White panel.  I stamped it again – offset a little – in Pretty in Pink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Basic Black cardstock, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Flowers of Beauty images on the front…

…and some Unbounded Beauty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Such a beautiful suite, isn’t it – with the Unbounded Beauty DSP showcasing the 2024-2026 In Colors?!  With the Flowers of Beauty bundle’s pretty foliage and the Unbounded Love sentiments (and frame dies, when you need them!) – it’s gorgeous AND versatile, ready for all your card-giving needs!
