Stampin’ Up! Bursting With Market Goodness Fun Fold for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is Celebrate Summer!  Be sure to check out everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!

For me – summer is really all about the garden.  The long short-day’d months of winter – flipping thru seed catalogs and planning – are behind us.  The garden is settling in and preparing to provide us with a bounty of veggies.  The horn-worms are gearing up for battle – and the slugs are…inching their way to the front…

Wait – sorry.  I got side-tracked….got to order some BT…

Anyway – back to the garden!  I plant my garden each Spring for tomatoes.  And peppers.  ANYTHING else that grows is…just gravy! The Market Goodness set is the very epitome of Vegetable Garden happiness!  ESPECIALLY when paired up with the To Market DSP!  And THAT is how I celebrated summer today with a cool, and easy, fun fold!!  Take a look-see:

The layout is from the MFT Sketches this week!

I did a quick video on how to make this one, which is posted on Instagram.  You can see it on YouTube right here!

I started with a piece of flowerdy To Market DSP that I matted on Real Red and then adhered the matted panel to a Blackberry Bliss card base using Liquid Glue.

I made a small card base from Blackberry Bliss cardstock.  It’s just a 3 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ piece of cardstock, scored and folded at 4 1/4″.

I matted a small piece of woodgrain To Market DSP on Real Red and adhered it to the front of the small card base with Liquid Glue.  Using Liquid Glue on the back of the small card – I adhered it to the large card base – offsetting it a little bit to the right.

I used Paper Snips to cut out a basket from the To Market DSP.   Not to worry – it’s a quick fussy cut! 🙂

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals on the bottom half of the fussy cut barrel to adhere it to the small card front.

Using the Market Goodness dies, I cut out an entire HARVEST of veggies right out of the To Market DSP.

I cut out a BUNCH of veggies, y’all – HEAVY on the tomatoes, a few carrots (for Cady), some lettuce (as a nod to my diet), a couple three onions, and a beet.

I started adding them to the card front – layering them on with Liquid Glue.  As I got more and more “into” the basket – I used a Stampin’ Dimensional here and there to add some depth.

I made little slits in two of the tomato bunches so I could “hook” them over the edge of the basket! 🙂

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Market Goodness sentiment in Real Red and cut it out with a Stylish Shapes label die.  I used some Liquid Glue and a Stampin’ Dimensional to adhere it to the card front – sliding it up under one of the tomato bunches.

I tied a simple bow from two lengths of Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine and added it with a dab of Liquid Glue.

I added five Granny Apple Green Adhesive-backed Transparent Dots and the card front was done.

On the inside of the small card – I stamped the two-step Market Goodness tomatoes in Real Red and Garden Green, and a few purple onions in Blackberry Bliss and Garden Green on a piece of Basic White cardstock.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the small card and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got more Market Goodness veggies on the front…

…and more of the To Market DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Y’all – I DO wish that GROWING veggies was as easy as making them from ink and paper!  The Market Goodness stamp set and bundled dies make THAT seriously easy!  You CAN stamp and die cut the veggies with the dies OR you can cut a whole patch of them from the To Market DSP.  Too cool!  And – don’t you love how quick and easy it is to make this fun fold!?  I know I do!
