Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes & Journey Sneak Peek for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is For the Ladies/Girls!  Be sure to check out everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!

I love the new Thoughtful Wishes bundle – the die cuts are so delicate and…feminine! 😉 So – that, paired with some stunning Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ DSP (ALL available on 1 May in the new annual catalog!) – seemed to fit the theme perfectly.  Take a look-see:

And the layout for this one is from the MFT Sketch Challenge!

I made a quick video on how to make this one – and posted it on Instagram this morning.  You can see it on YouTube right here!

I started by adhering a piece of the new Thoughtful Journey DSP on new Peach Pie cardstock and then to the front of a Crumb Cake card base using Liquid Glue.

Using the dies in the Thoughtful Wishes die set – I cut out…the large foliage die from Peach Pie 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer Paper (available 1 May), a small leafy die cut in Crumb Cake and the same die from Petunia Pop cardstock.  I also cut a double-leaf from Mossy Meadow cardstock.

I used Liquid Glue (just on the one half of the die) to adhere the big and sparkly die cut to the card front.

Then – I snipped the Petunia Pop and Crumb Cake die cut leaves into two pieces each and adhered both Petunia Pop pieces with Liquid Glue.  I added the Mossy Meadow leaf and one of the snipped Crumb Cake die cuts.

I tied a bow from two lengths of vanilla Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a little Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, I stamped the Thoughtful Wishes sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink.  Then I cut it out with a Stylish Shapes banner die.

I adhered the sentiment over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some Petunia Pop pretties from the new 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems – I LOVE these so much!! – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I simply stamped a Thoughtful Wishes foliage image in Petunia Pop on a Basic White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Peach Pie mat and into my Crumb Cake card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Petunia Pop foliage on the front…

…and more of the Thoughtful Journey DSP on the envelope flap – and…I stamped it with the foliage, too! 😎

Et Voila!  Oh my gosh – I KNOW I say this about SOO many new things but…this Thoughtful Wishes bundle is ONE OF MY FAVES!!  I love love love the die cuts – and the coordinating images in the set are perfect!  The sentiments are wonderful.  The coordinating Thoughtful Journey DSP is…stunning!  WOW!!

I hope you like!
