Stampin’ Up! Loveliest Tree In The Grove Sneak Peek Thanks with Video Tutorial

Good morning – and Happy Friday!  Any of you headed to a Solar Eclipse spot this weekend in preparation for Monday’s big event?  We discussed it and then…decided that would be a LOT of work and then…we’d prolly be right under some overcast.  And – it’ll get darker here, too.  We’re good!  If YOU are going – have fun and be safe!!

My card today is a fun sneak peek of two new bundles from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog – and you’ll be able to get them on 1 May!  The In The Grove and Loveliest Tree bundles work perfectly together – and really make an impression atop some new Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ DSP.  Take a look-see:

I selected some elements for this card thanks to the tic-tac-toe board challenge over at The Paper Players this week! I went across the top (designer paper – die cut – ribbon) and down the left side (designer paper – sparkle – flowers).

I started by trimming a piece of the new Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ DSP down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ – centering the portion of the scene that I wanted.  Y’all – this paper is absolutely gorgeous!  Watercolor-y landscapes on one side and watercolor-y abstracts on the other!

Using the little flower image in the In The Grove bundle…

…I stamped all over the bottom of the DSP panel – where the “ground” is – in stamped-off-once Petunia Pop ink.

I adhered the trimmed panel to the front of my Thick Basic White card base using Liquid Glue.

Using the dies in the new Loveliest Tree bundle…

…I cut three Pecan Pie tree trunks and three tree “tops”.  The “tops” are from the BACK of one of the Thoughtful Journey DSP papers – with swirls of color in Lost Lagoon, Mossy Meadow and Wild Wheat.

I adhered the three tops to the three trunks with Liquid Glue – and then adhered them to the DSP panel on the front of the card.

The die cut card front is a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock, that I used the large die from the In The Grove bundle to cut out the aspen grove.

I used a bunch of Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the die cut to the front of the card base.

There are two tiny little dies in the In The Grove set and I used them to cut out a little bunny and a little squirrel from Pebbled Path cardstock.  I tucked them under the Basic White die cut – adhering them in place with Liquid Glue.  See ’em peeking out?! 😎

I cut two short lengths of ribbon from the new Petal Pink & White 1/4″ Diagonal Trim Combo Pack (get this on 1 May, too!) and used Glue Dots to adhere them together in a criss-cross.

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Loveliest Tree sentiment in Lost Lagoon ink and cut it out with the smallest Stylish Shapes banner die.

I used more Glue Dots to adhere the die cut sentiment to the criss-crossed ribbon and then adhered the whole thing to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a few new 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems in Petunia Pop and…the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the grassy ground image from the In The Grove set in stamped-off-once Lost Lagoon ink in the corner of a Basic White panel.  I added the little flowers in stamped-off-once Petunia Pop ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Thick Basic White card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the In The Grove images in stamped-off-once Lost Lagoon and Petunia Pop on the front…

…and more of the Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  How beautiful are these two bundles?  And – put them together and you really WILL have the Loveliest Tree In The Grove!! I love the aspen grove in the In The Grove set (not to mention the totes-adorbs bunny and squirrel!) – and the pretty die cut trees in the Loveliest Tree set, don’t you?  And – the Thoughtful Journey DSP is one of the most beauteous I’ve seen in a while!  HOW can you wait ALL the way to 1 May to get these!?

Finn Fan Fix

Apparently he felt the need to recline in the toy bed today.

It took a little effort…
