Stampin’ Up! Bunches of Sweet Thoughts Hello Card

Morning, all – and Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day! It’s colder than a well-digger’s lunch bucket here – it was….it was 7 with the wind chill last night.  Yuk.  I shut the barn all the way down – although I did leave a couple doors up a bit so our kitty-visitor could come in and eat – and maybe find a spot to cuddle down.  If only he knew how much cozier it is in the house…maybe he’d let me catch him up and “convert” him to an an inside kitty.

So far…that has not come even close to working! So – food.  Water.  Access to the barn.  ‘Bout all I can do! 🤷‍♀️

My card today is the…wait for it…POLAR opposite of the weather. Bwahahaha!  It’s Spring-y and bright – all thanks to the Sweet Thoughts Memories & More Card Pack and coordinating Cards & Envelopes.  I also grabbed a little sentiment from the Blueberry Bunches stamp set.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this pretty card was inspired by the sketch at the Sunday Stamps challenge.

Seriously – the hardest piece of this card was picking WHICH of the many pretty cards in the pack to use!  It really is one of the prettiest Memories & More Card Packs I’ve seen!

I started with a leafy panel – it’s one of the small ones in the pack – that I cut down a bit and then matted on Pecan Pie cardstock.  Then I adhered it to one of the Pretty Peacock cards from the coordinating Sweet Thoughts Cards & Envelopes.  There are ALSO Calypso Coral card bases/envelopes in the pack! 🙂

I selected another small panel – this one in Pecan Pie – and used the next-to-largest Stylish Shapes circle die to cut out a circle, which I adhered with some Liquid Glue.

Using Glue Dots, I adhered a loop-de-do of Pecan Pie 3/8″ Center Stripe Ribbon.

That big, gorgeous butterfly is just ONE of the pretty stickers in the Sweet Thoughts Memories & More Card Pack.  I used my Embossing Buddy to un-stickify the back of the sticker.  Tip:  you can also tap it on your arm or on the leg of your pants!  Just make it…NOT sticky!

Then I adhered it over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the Blueberry Bunches sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink onto one of the little label stickers in the pack.  I’m telling you – this pack is a WINNER!

I de-stickified it and added it with a few Dimensionals.

I stuck on a couple of flowers from – you guessed it! – the Sweet Thoughts Memories & More Card Pack – and the card front was done.

On the inside of the card, I simply added a long daisy-chain sticker on a Basic White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pecan Pie mat and then into the card base and the card was done!

The envelopes in the Sweet Memories Cards & Envelopes are already decorated perfectly but…I DID add another flower sticker on the front…

…and the envelope is decorated on the outside…

….AND on the inside!

Et Voila!  Well – was I right?!  Isn’t this Sweet Thoughts Memories & More Card Pack – and the coordinating Cards & Envelopes! – so so pretty!? I am always just a bit surprised when the Memories & More products work SO perfeclty for card making!  Not sure WHY I’m surprised – Stampin’ Up! knows how awesome they are – or they wouldn’t have the cards & envelopes to go with!  Be sure to check them out – you won’t be sorry!  And – even though all I needed from it for THIS card was a sentiment – the Blueberry Bunches set is super sweet and pretty, too!!

Finn Fan Fix

Y’all know how fun fetch is?

Well – it’s even better when you’re “fetching” pahcorns.

And – if it can include a little problem solving…

…it’s even BETTER!

THAT’s not gonna work…

THERE you go!  Got it!

Sigh…

Okay – real funny, Mom.

Problem.  Solved.

Entertain the dog.  It’s what I do.

Well – he’s a man’s man (I think) so..entirely too macho to be an “inside kitty”. His loss! :). Thanks, Mom! 🙂
