Stampin’ Up! August 2023 Meaningful Flowers Paper Pumpkin and a Peek at the September Kit!

Happy Saturday, y’all!  Amy and I are getting geared up for another day of learning and fun here in Lost Wages! Yesterday was great, so I know today will be, too!  And then tonight we’ll have the final event – which SU has billed as “a unique VIP Vegas experience on the town! We’ll celebrate the end of an unforgettable conference as we enjoy the City of Lights and say our goodbyes.”  Last year, in NOLA, we did a Mardi-Gras style parade so…there’s no telling what they’ve got up their sleeves this year!  🎉🎉🎉

Before I left home – I got my August 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit – called the Meaningful Flowers kit.  I put one of them together tout suite cuz…boy were they pretty!

There was everything I needed to put together eight beautiful cards – four each of two designs.

When I opened up the kit – I found (as always!) – a fun stamp set and a Pretty Peacock ink spot.  The set on the left in the picture is the “normal” free Paper Pumpkin stamp set.  But – this month – we got a SECOND exclusive stamp set (the one on the right) – with beautiful Lotus Flowers!  With these two sets – think of the projects you can make beyond the kit!

And there was everything else I needed, too – including dimensionals, Tear & Tape Adhesive, and pretty embellishments!!

Of the two designs in the kit – this is my fave.  I love the flowers and the die cut edge – that makes it a fun fold!

I like the simple Linen Thread bow on the inside – and the fact that everything was pre-printed.  All I had to do was stamp the sentiment!

Stampin’ Up! gave us GORGEOUS envelopes!  My goodness!

The second design is all about Lotus Flowers! There’s a pretty vellum panel to adhere (with the included Tear & Tape adhesive!).  Then the sentiment – printed on a Lotus Flower – tucks into the pocket that it creates! 🙂

On this one – I stamped a lily pad on the inside in Pretty Peacock.  Cuz…it needed a little sumpin’ sumpin!

Again – beautiful pre-printed envelopes!

I thought it would be fun to show you a little different way to make this one – so…on one, I used some of the included Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment flower to the front of the card base.  Here’s a side-by-side.

I love both options – which one will you make?!

Now – this is fun.  The BACKS of the cards are printed with the meanings of the flowers!
