Good morning and Happy Happy Hawwmp Day, y’all! I hope your week is going well – and that you’re maybe cooling off a bit? I’d like to tell you it’s getting more pleasant here but – I do hate to lie to my friends!! LOL!
My card today is a sneaky peak at the new Beary Cute bundle – it’s a PUNCH bundle! – coming to you soon in the Sep – Dec 2023 Mini Catalog. I paired it with a new Designer Paper – called A Walk in the Forest. And – the Very Best Occasions stamp set brought my sentiments! Take a look-see:
I played along with the Festive Friday Inspo List challenge this week! I used Black, White, Rhinestones and Squares! 🙂
I started by adhering a piece of the new A Walk in the Forest DSP onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock for the card front.
This is a cool pack of paper…
…the bears work with the Beary Cute Punch (part of the Beary Cute bundle – which gives you a double whammy of usefulness!) AND it’s the Making A Difference product in the new catalog. For every pack of this fun paper that is sold, Stampin’ Up! will donate $3 to support organizations dedicated to spreading cheer and providing support to those in need! Yeah!!
Next up, I cut six next-to-smallest Stylish Shapes squares from a second design in the DSP.
I adhered the squares to a Basic Black mat with Liquid Glue then used more Liquid Glue to adhere the whole thing to the card front.
I used the next-to-smallest Stylish Shapes circle die to cut out a circle from Distressed Gold Specialty Paper and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
I adhered two lengths of Burlap Ribbon with some Stampin’ Seal.
Using the Beary Cute punch, I punched out a brown bear from the A Walk in the Forest DSP and popped it over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Don’t you love when you can punch out shapes lickety-split from our DSPs??
I stamped a Very Best Occasions sentiment in Pretty Peacock on a piece of Basic White – matted it on Basic Black and adhered it to the bear with a Dimensional and some Liquid Glue. Very Best Occasions is available right now in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog and is a wunnermus all-sentiment set!
I added some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a second Very Best Occasions sentiment in Pretty Peacock on a Basic White panel. In the corner I stamped the little Beary Cute bear in Tuxedo Black and colored him with my Light Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend and a Color Lifter.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Basic Black mat and into my Thick Basic White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the little Beary Cute bear on the front…
…and more A Walk in the Forest DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! What a fun pack of paper! I love all the designs in A Walk in the Forest – and love that it gives you the option of a DSP-punchable brown bear! The Beary Cute bundle gives you polar bears (punched from the Beary Christmas DSP) – so…we’ve got you covered all the way around! And don’t miss the Very Best Occasions all-sentiment set – you won’t regret having it in your tool chest!
