Stampin’ Up! Rustic Autumn Crate Sneak Peek for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is Fall Frenzy!  Be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!

Is Fall your fave time of year like it is for me??  I hope so – I mean…what’s not to love!?  My card today showcases the gorgeous NEW All About Autumn DSP and channels all the crisp, cool days and the light of a Fall sunset.  A simple die cut sentiment from the Rustic Crate bundle keeps a low profile so that the beautiful DSP can simply shine.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one comes from the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge.

I started by adhering some Mossy Meadow paper from the All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP on the front of my Mossy Meadow card base.

Next – I cut up a 3 7/8″ x 4 7/8″ piece of scenic All About Autumn DSP into three pieces – 1″ – 2 7/8″ – 1″.  I cut the pieces in order so that I could keep that gorgeous scene intact on the card front!

I matted all three strips on Copper Clay mats and then adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.  Tip: Adhere the top and bottom strips first and then add the middle panel – “splitting the difference” between the first two panels.

I cut out a second-from-smallest Deckled Circle from a piece of Mossy Meadow and then embossed it in the new Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder (part of the All About Autumn suite in the new mini – and available on 6 Sept).

I cut out the sweet sentiment from Very Vanilla cardstock, using the die in the Rustic Crate Die set and used a little Liquid Glue to adhere it to the embossed circle.

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere a loop-de-loop of a length of 1/4″ Metallic Copper ribbon onto a piece of 1″ Natural Ribbon (these will come together in a pack and are also part of the All About Autumn suite).

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment circle to the stacked ribbons and then more Dimensionals to adhere the assembled sentiment onto the card front.

Finally – I added some Copper Clay dots from the new Adhesive-backed Speckled Dots (yep – coming on 6 Sep!) and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the flowers and pumpkins image from the Rustic Crate set in Copper Clay ink on a Very Vanilla panel.  I lightly blended some Copper Clay ink over the image using a Blending Brush.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Copper Clay mat and into the Mossy Meadow card base and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the stamped and blended Rustic Crate image on the front…

…and more of the Mossy Meadow All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I can almost smell the Pumpkin Spice Latte, can’t you?!  THAT PAPER!  Wow!  So many beautiful designs in the new All About Autumn DSP – and this is one of my very favorites!  Gotta get another pack, I’m thinking!  The Rustic Crate stamp set and bundled dies are a lot of fun – and I haven’t even made a CRATE yet (but…I CAN with the new dies!).
