Stampin’ Up! All About Autumn Leaves Sneak Peek Grateful Heart

Happy Tuesday!  It’s been 6 days since I placed my pre-order and 5 days since I GOT my pre-order.

I think that is PLENTY of time to resist the urge to make a straight up, all the way, FALL card using the amazeballs new suite of goodies – All About Autumn!  You can get it ALL on 6 Sept in the new Sep – Dec 2023 Mini Catalog!

Today is the day – I gave up and pulled out the Autumn Leaves bundle, the All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ Specialty DSP and…well, most of the Suite, really!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one was from the Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge this week!

I started by embossing a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock in the awesome new Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder (you guys know how much I love embossing folders and this one is already a FAVE!)!

I cut two 3/8″ wide strips of the All About Autumn Specialty 6″ x 6″ DSP…

…and used Liquid Glue to adhere them to the Vanilla panel, butting the edges together.  Then I used more Liquid Glue to adhere a third design to the rest of the top right corner.  Using a Paper Trimmer, I cut off the excess DSP that was hanging over the edges.  Note: for the two narrow strips – the longest strip will need to be cut on the diagonal of the 6″ x 6″ DSP – if you go along an edge, the strip won’t be long enough.

Then I used Stampin’ Seal+ to adhere the panel to a Copper Clay mat for the card front.

I used Stampin’ Seal + to adhere a length of the 1″ Natural Ribbon across the card front and a loop-de-doop of the 1/4″ Copper Trim.  These will come packed together in the Copper and Natural Ribbon Combo Pack in the new catalog!

I cut out two large leaves – using the stunning Autumn Leaves dies – one each from Copper Clay and Pretty Peacock. I embossed THOSE in the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder, too.

I stuck some Adhesive Sheets to the back of each of the (two) colors of paper in the new Oxidized Copper Specialty DSP.. Then, using the veins die (see above) – I cut out one of each color.

I peeled the backing off the two dies cuts – and adhered them to their respective embossed die cut leaves.

Using the veins die again – I cut two from Crumb Cake cardstock.  I adhered the first using Liquid Glue.  Then I snipped the stem from the Copper Clay leaf and used Liquid Glue to adhere it over the ribbon and “twig” on the card front.

I popped the Pretty Peacock leaf over the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I cut the second twig into two parts and adhered them – tucking them under the leaves with Liquid Glue.

On another piece of Very Vanilla, I stamped the larger sentiment from Autumn Leaves in Pretty Peacock and the second smaller sentiment in Copper Clay.

Then I used the die from the Autumn Leaves die set to cut it out and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some Crumb Cake dots from the new Adhesive-backed Speckled Dots and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the large leaf from Autumn Leaves in stamped-off-once Pretty Peacock on a Very Vanilla panel.

I used Stampin’ Seal + to adhere the panel to a Copper Clay mat and into my Very Vanilla card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the stamped-off-once Pretty Peacock leaf on the front…

…and more of the All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Oh my – this Suite!  The All About Autumn Specialty DSP (and the coordinating Oxidized Copper paper) is absolutely stunning!  It’s hard to decide which paper to use first – but…I do know I’ll be ordering a SECOND pack soon!  And the Autumn Leaves bundle is a perfect mix of leaves – stamped AND die cut! – and mix-and-match sentiments for you to use on so many projects!  And you’re going to be able to grab it ALL on 6 Sept!!
