Good morning and Happy Happy Hawwmp Day!! And – it’s the end of MAY already! Wow – the year is flying by!
My card today uses another new and fun stamp set – this one is the Just My Type set and…you MIGHT have overlooked it! But it’s super cute and deserves another look. I also used the fun a la carte Patchwork Pieces Die set and some Delightfully Eclectic DSP. Take a look-see:
I played along with the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge this week. I went down the right column – Green – Metallic Element – Use Shapes.
I started with a piece of Delightfully Eclectic DSP that I adhered to the front of my Pretty Peacock card base using Liquid Glue.
Using one of the dies in the Patchwork Pieces die set – I cut a second design of Delightfully Eclectic DSP. I colored the hearts with the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend and then used Liquid Glue to adhere the pieces to a Daffodil Delight mat.
I popped the panel into place with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Using the third-from-largest Stylish Shapes circle die, I cut out a Daffodil Delight circle and embossed it in the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder.
I adhered the circle in place with Liquid Glue. Over the top, I adhered a Basic White Nested Essentials die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Just My Type sentiment twice – once in Flirty Flamingo and once in Daffodil Delight.
I used Paper Snips to cut out a few letters in each color and adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I added some gold Neutrals Adhesive-backed Sequins and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the Just My Type typewriter in Pretty Peacock then added Daffodil Delight “paper”, a Flirty Flamingo heart and Pretty Peacock “hi” on a Basic White panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Daffodil Delight mat and into the Pretty Peacock card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Just My Type images on the front…
…and some more Delightfully Eclectic DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! The Just My Type stamp set isn’t my usual jam but…it caught my eye from the git-go! I just think it’s so cute – and it goes together perfectly with the Delightfully Eclectic DSP pattern, don’t you think? I also love the stand-alone Patchwork Pieces dies – so fun!
