Happy Tuesday, y’all! We’re trying to get un-jet-lagged and…it’s harder than it was when I was actively flying overseas trips some…30 years??….ago, I’ll tell you! We also, of course! – came home with colds so…that’s a fun help in the recovery process.
But – home we are AND so is the Finn so…life is good!! 🙂
A few weeks back I made a card with one of the two pretty images in the new Marvelous Nature set (you can see that one right here if you want) and today – I used the other image. Like that card, I combined it with the Earthen Elegance DSP. Take a look-see:
Yes – it’s a CASE of a catalog sample – I just really liked it!
I started with a piece of Gray Granite and a piece of Misty Moonlight paper from the Earthen Elegance DSP pack. Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the Misty Moonlight panel to the Gray Granite panel on a diagonal.
Using a Paper Trimmer, I cut off the excess Misty Moonlight paper.
I inked the wheat image from the Marvelous Nature set in Wild Wheat ink and stamped the Gray Granite side of the panel.
Then I adhered the panel to a Copper Clay mat.
Using Glue Dots, I adhered a length of new Natural 1/4″ Wavy Trim across the seam and secured it on the back of the matted panel.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Marvelous Nature sentiment in Pebbled Path ink. I matted the sentiment on Copper Clay and popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals,
I added a Boho Blue 2023-2025 In Color Dot to the sentiment and the card front was done!
For the inside, I stamped a second Marvelous Nature sentiment in Pebbled Path on the Basic White panel – and added another 2023-2025 In Color Dot. In the corner, I stamped the wheat image again in Wild Wheat.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Copper Clay mat and in to my Pebbled Path card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Marvelous Nature wheat on the front…
…and more of the Misty Moonlight Earthen Elegance DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Marvelous Nature is a very simple set – two big, beautiful images and three sentiments – done. But…my goodness – I think it’s so so pretty!

Pebbled Path Cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ (card base – scored and folded at 4 1/4″)
Copper Clay Cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/4″ (x2 – mat for card front and for inner liner); 1″ x 3 1/8″ (mat for sentiment)
Basic White Cardstock: 7/8″ x 3″ (sentiment); 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ (inner liner)
Earthen Elegance DSP: 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ (card front); Approx 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ (Corner piece – adhered and trimmed to size); 2 1/4″ x 6″ (envelope flap)

Finn Fan Fix 
On Monday, we dragged out of bed first thing so we could go get the Man.
There really was no one there…customer-wise!
I thought I was supposed to pick him up in the morning – turns out…nope. That was an “early” pick up and they’d been expecting me that afternoon. And – since they were full-up for the holiday weekend – they were a little surprised to see someone pull in, I bet!
Oh well – I wanted my kid back! 🙂
And they were very kind and gracious and said lots of wonderful things about Finn. And about all the comments that y’all left while Finn was there. They hadn’t realized they had a star in their midst! 😂 Thank you guys for keeping an eye on him!
I had the camera at the ready…
Release the DAAAAAWWWWG!!!!
He headed to the desk – then headed to the toy chest and then….
MOOOOOOOM!??!?!
He finally realized it was me! 🥰🥰🥰
And so I stopped taking pics so that I could hug him silly and kiss that freckled face about a gazillion times!
He did a lot of crying and talking.
On the way home, we took a selfie.
It’s kind of our thing!
And then…he did what any kid does on the way home from camp….
As we drove up the driveway – he did a scan for any interlopers who might have been there while he was gone.
Happiness is Finn in the side-view mirror! 🙂
I’m a big fan of Camp Mimi, y’all – and will be making SURE to reserve a spot for the Man next year!! 🙂
