Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight Awash in Beauty Thank You Card

Good morning and welcome back to the work week.  I hope wherever you are – you were safe over the weekend.  My thoughts are with the folks who were so grievously impacted by that horrible tornado. 😔

Spring brings tornadoes – at least in the south! – but it ALSO brings flowers (which I like a LOT better!!).  And the Dainty Delight bundle is a perfect example of gorgeous Spring flowers!  And – when you add some Awash in Beauty DSP – in wunnermius Polished Pink…it’s….well.  Take a look-see!

Stampin' Up! Dainty Delight Awash in Beauty Thank You Card

The layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week!

I started by embossing a Basic White panel in the cross-hatch folder from the new Basics 3D Embossing Folders (part of the Online Exclusives) and then matting it on Mossy Meadow for the card front.

Next is a piece of Awash in Beauty DSP – in my fave color!! – also matted on Mossy Meadow and adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used the fourth-from-largest of the wider set of Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out a Basic White panel – which I adhered with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White I stamped the large Dainty Delight floral image once and the small floral image twice in Mossy Meadow.  I colored the images with my Light Polished Pink and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends and the Dark Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight Blends.  Then I cut them out with the matching dies in the Dainty Delight Die set.

I adhered the two small floral die cuts with Liquid Glue, then popped the large floral on over the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a bow with two lengths of Linen Thread and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

Next, I stamped the Dainty Delight sentiment in Balmy Blue on Basic White cardstock and cut it out with the next-to-smallest narrow Stitched Rectangle Die.  I used Dimensionals – a single near the bow and a couple of double-stacked Dimensionals on the right end – to adhere it to the card front.

I added a bevy of Brushed Brass Butterflies and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped another couple of floral images from Dainty Delight and colored them with the Light Polished Pink and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends and the Dark Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight Blends.  And cuz flowers NEED butterflies…I added another one on the inside, too!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and into my Balmy Blue card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the same Dainty Delight floral images on the front…

…and more of that gorgeous Awash in Beauty DSP on the envelope flap!
