Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets Hello Irresistible Card for a Friend

Good morning and happy happy Hawmmmp Day to you all!  Hope your week is going well!  Yesterday was one of those “gotcha!” days – you know the ones.  About 70 – doors open, windows open.  Spent some time in the garden (in shirt sleeves!) – pruned the hydrangeas, cut down dead plants, found all the seed starting trays (ordered some more!), etc.  You know – SPRING cleaning!  It was lovely but…I don’t trust it!  I’ll probably have to be back in covers and a watch cap by the end of the week!  🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

My card today, though, reflects that Spring feel!  I’ve used the pretty – and new (SO new, in fact, that only DEMONSTRATORS can get it yet!) Hello Irresistible 6″ x 6″ DSP – and it’s gorgeous!  I paired it with the Framed Florets stamp set and bundled dies.  Take a look-see:

Several of the elements were selected thanks to the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge this week. I went down the left column (heart – red – Stitching) and across the diagonal (Heart – Free – Die Cut). 🙂

This one is pretty AND pretty easy so…buckle up! 🙂

I started by using the largest Stitched Rectangle Die to cut a Soft Sea Foam “mat” that I adhered to the front of a Sweet Sorbet card base – at a slight angle – using Liquid Glue.

Then I selected a piece of the new Hello Irresistible DSP – it looks like it’s been embossed in white! – and cut it with the same Stitched Rectangle Die.

I ran it thru the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine again, with the heart oval die from the Framed Florets die set in place in the center.

I adhered the panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the leaf die from the Framed Florets die set, I cut Soft Sea Foam and Vellum cardstock leaves – which I adhered on the side of the oval using Liquid Glue.  Tip – keep the Glue on just the lower part of the stem of the Vellum leaf, so that it will be hidden by the bow and sentiment. 🙂

I used two lengths of Sweet Sorbet 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine to tie a simple bow – and adhered it with a little dab of Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Framed Florets sentiment in Sweet Sorbet and cut it with a smaller Stitched Rectangle Die.

I adhered the sentiment over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I added some Heart Pearls and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Framed Florets in Sweet Sorbet on a Basic White panel.  In the corner, I stamped the leaf image in Soft Sea Foam.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Soft Sea Foam mat and into the Sweet Sorbet card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Framed Florets leaf in Soft Sea Foam on the front…

…and more of the Hello Irresistible 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap!

Et Voila!  The Framed Florets dies are so pretty – that oval die cut!! – and the bundled stamp set is perfect with it, too!  And the new Hello Irresistible 6″ x 6″ DSP is…stunning!

  1. So pretty! Love the clean design and the layering is perfect! Love that paper so much. 🙂 Poor Finn…he gets no attention and hardly has any toys. 😉
