Stampin Up! Scenic Garden Happy Labels Thank You Card

Good morning and welcome back to the work week!  Have you got something fun planned for the week or is it all work all the time?  After last week’s 4-day week, that extra day seems…like a bummer!

My card today is a super easy one to make – and it showcases the Scenic Garden Host-Exclusive stamp set from the Jan – Feb 2023 Sale-a-Bration catalog!  I’ll let you know at the end how you can get it for yourself for FREE!  Scenic Garden is an image-only stamp set – so you’ll likely want a sentiment with it. I used the new Happy Labels stamp set and its bundled Happy Labels Punch!  The whole thing was anchored by a pretty piece of Regency Park 6″ x 6″ DSP.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week!

…and the color palette is from the Color Throwdown challenge.  I also REALLY want those nails!! 🙂

I started by adhering a piece of Regency Park 6″ x 6″ DSP onto a Basic White mat for the card front.

Using the third-from-largest Deckled Rectangle die, I cut a Basic White rectangle and adhered it at an angle onto the card front with Stampin’ Seal+.

I put a piece of Smoky Slate cardstock into my Stamparatus and used it to stamp the park bench image from Scenic Garden in Night of Navy Ink.

Then I cut it out with the third-from-largest Deckled Rectangles Die.

Using the White pencil in the Watercolor Pencils set, I colored just the bench.

Then I adhered the panel to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used more Stampin’ Seal+ to adhere a length of Night of Navy 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon across the panel.

On a strip of Basic White, I stamped a Happy Labels sentiment in Night of Navy.  Then I punched the ends with the bundled Happy Labels punch!

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment over the ribbon, added some white Classic Matte Dots – and the card front was done!

For the inside, I stamped a second Happy Labels sentiment in Night of Navy on a Basic White panel.  Then I stamped the tall floral image from Scenic Garden twice in Night of Navy.

I used Stampin’ Seal+ to adhere the panel to a Basic White mat and into my Smoky Slate card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the tall Scenic Garden floral in Night of Navy on the front…

…and more of the Regency Park 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I LOVE this monochromatic card with just the gray and blue – the Scenic Garden set just shines, don’t you think?!  And the Happy Labels set is chock-a-block full of handy sentiments in pretty fonts – and you get TWO punch designs from the Happy Labels Punch – with multiple-width capapability!  Score!

Using the white watercolor pencil was a great choice, making a fairly easily made card look “knockout” great! Will definitely be keeping that in mind. Finn always brings a smile to my face, no matter what else is going on! Thanks!
