Stampin’ Up! Brightest Christmas Lights Aglow Card!

Good morning and happy Friday!  I can’t believe how fast this week has gone!  Wow!  Almost time to get back to TRW.  Where you have to do things IRL.  In others words – NOT vacation!

My card today pairs two of my fave colors for Christmas – Evening Evergreen and Cherry Cobbler – with some pretty glimmery gold!  All brought together by the Christmas Lights and Brightest Glow Bundles – with gorgeous Lights Aglow Specialty 6″ x 6″ DSP.  Take a look-see:

Stampin' Up! Brightest Christmas Lights Aglow Card!

I started with a piece of Cherry Cobbler paper from the Lights Aglow 6″ x 6″ Specialty DSP that I matted on gold Glimmer paper from the Glimmer 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper to make the card front.

I matted two strips of an Evening Evergreen design from the pack on more of the gold Glimmer paper and adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using my fave pine bough from the Decorated Pines Die set, I cut a Glimmer paper pine bough in Evening Evergreen and adhered it with some Liquid Glue.

Over top of the pine bough, I added two Wonderful Snowflakes – using Liquid Glue just under the center portion of the snowflakes.

I tied a simple gold bow from a length of Simply Elegant Trim and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

On a piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Brightest Glow set in Versamark Ink, sprinkled it with Gold embossing powder and heat set it with a Heat Tool.

When the embossing powder was cool, I cut out the sentiment with a die from the Labels Aglow dies (bundled with Brightest Glow!).  Then I adhered the sentiment over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals – tucking it under one of the snowflakes a little!

I used a snowflake die from the Twinkling Lights dies (bundled with Christmas Lights) to cut a Very Vanilla snowflake from Glimmer 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper – which I adhered onto the middle of a Wonderful Snowflake with Liquid Glue.

I added a Gold Adhesive-backed Swirl in the middle of the Glimmer snowflake and on the sentiment label and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Brightest Glow in Evening Evergreen ink and added a couple snowflakes from Christmas Lights over the top in stamped off once Soft Succulent ink.  Then I added another Gold Adhesive-backed Swirl.

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Gold Glimmer mat and into my Evening Evergreen card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got a couple of Soft Succulent snowflakes from the Christmas Lights set on the front…

…and more Lights Aglow 6″ x 6″ Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

This is gorgeous! Cherry Cobbler is my favorite red and Evening Evergreen took over as fav green after Handsome Hunter retired. Getting ready to start holiday cards and the Lights Aglow paper is front and center. Thanks for the inspiration.
