Good morning and Happy WCMD-eve! That’s right – OUR big day is TOMORROW! I hope hope hope that you’ve signed up for the Stampin’ Up! And – being all special and stuff, I’ve had a look at the announcement. It’s pretty stinkin’ cool – you’re going to like it, I promise!! 😉

So. Today is the last day of the Perfect Partners promotion – and I’ve used the Fresh Cut Stems – part of the promotion and bundled with the Fresh Cut Flowers stamp set from the 2022-23 Annual Catalog. You’ll also see some pretty Perfectly Penciled DSP and a little embossing. Take a look-see:
The layout for this one is from The Paper Players sketch challenge this week.
I started by adhering a piece of Perfectly Penciled DSP to a Polished Pink mat with Liquid Glue for the card front.
Next up, I stamped a sentiment from Celebrate You in Polished Pink on a smaller Basic White panel. Then I embossed it in one of the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D Embossing Folders and adhered it to a Polished Pink mat.
Next, I cut two Parakeet Party sprigs using the die in the Fresh Cut Flowers die set – and adhered them with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the smallest floral from Fresh Cut Flowers twice and the medium floral in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Then I cut THEM out using the Fresh Cut Stems Dies (I told you these are awesome dies!!).
I colored the flowers using my Light and Dark Parakeet Party and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends – plus the Light Polished Pink Blend.
Then – I adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I tied a small bow from Parakeet Party 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine and added it with a little dab of Liquid Glue
Finally, I added some Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds (including one in the middle of the largest Daffodil Delight flower!!) – and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the medium floral from Fresh Cut Flowers twice in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink at the bottom of a Basic White Medium Envelope – and colored it the same way as the flowers on the front. I added the Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Opal Round to the middle of the two larger Daffodil Delight flowers.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Polished Pink mat and into my Basic Black card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Fresh Cut Flowers on the front…
…and a little more of the Perfectly Penciled DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I love the beautiful florals in the Fresh Cut Flowers stamp set – and the Fresh Cut Stems make it easy to cut out the stamped flowers – PLUS a plethora of other die cuts that will add beauty to your card. Since this is an image only set, you’ll be needing a good sentiment – and the Celebrating You set is a very worthy candidate!
