Stampin’ Up! Begin with a Dream and Perfectly Penciled Kindness Card

MikeMikeMikeMikeMIKE!!  Guess what day it is!?!  It’s….HAWWWMP DAY!

And – I am VERY excited – because one week from today, I’ll be picking Amy up at the airport and then…we’ll leave for BackStage the next day!  It’s gonna be awesome!  Can you say….ROAD TRIP!!? 😎😎😎🚙🚙🚙🚙🚙

My card today is a quick and easy one – no – REALLY.  Actually quick and actually easy.  It features the host-exclusive Begin with a Dream stamp set, some Perfectly Penciled DSP and the cool Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder.  Take a look-see:

Stampin' Up! Begin with a Dream and Perfectly Penciled Kindness Card

I love this black-and-white color palette with the big, bold pop of Polished Pink.  It’s a direct result of the prompt from this week’s Paper Players challenge!

And I also played along with the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge.  I went down the diagonal left-to-right (Heart – Patterned Paper – Embossing).

I started by adhering a piece of Perfectly Penciled DSP to the front of a Basic Black card base using Liquid Glue.

I ran a smaller piece of Polished Pink cardstock thru the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine inside the Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder.

Using a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, I “painted” all of the raised embossed design on the panel just to add a little shimmer and shine.  I used Liquid Glue to adhere it to a Basic White mat and then to the front of the card base at a jaunty angle.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I used my Stamparatus to stamp the Begin with a Dream sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

Then I stamped the heart image over the top in Polished Pink ink.

I used the next-to-largest Stylish Shapes circle die to cut out the sentiment and popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a few Polished Pink 2022-2024 In Color Opal Rounds to the sentiment and the card front was done.

Yep.  Not even a bow or nuthin’! 😳😳😳

On the inside, I stamped the globe image from Begin with a Dream in stamped-off-once Polished Pink in the middle of a Basic White panel.  Over top, I stamped a second sentiment from the set in Tuxedo Black.  Then I added another of the Polished Pink 2022-2024 In Color Opal Rounds.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Polished Pink mat and into the Basic Black card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Begin with a Dream heart in Polished Pink on the front…

…and more Perfectly Penciled DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  You didn’t even believe me when I said quick & easy, did you!?  Fooled ya!  I like the stylized heart and the nice sentiments in the Begin with a Dream set – perfect for telling someone you appreciate all they do, yes?  And the Perfectly Penciled DSP – well.  It’s really stunning and is a perfect foil for the Twigs & Sprigs embossed Polished Pink panel, don’t you think!?
