Good morning and happy two-weeks-before Christmas Eve! Yes – it’s true. Two weeks from today is Christmas Eve.
Yikes! I am SO not ready. So. Not. Ready.
But. What IS ready is a card. Perhaps I have my priorities messed up – no baking done, nothing wrapped/packed/mailed, few things gathered up. But I DO have a card today! 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️

This is a sneak peek of a really cool new bundle, coming to you in January in the Jan – Jun 2022 Mini Catalog. It’s part of the Artfully Composed suite and is called Artfully Layered! The stamp set is paired up with the equally awesome Tropical Layers Die set. Take a look-see:
The layout for this card is from the Inspire. Create. Challenge this week.
And the color palette is from the Sunday Stamps challenge.
I started with some of the gorgeous Artfully Composed DSP that I matted on Just Jade for the card front. This paper is so pretty…tropical leaves on one side and graphic designs on the other!
I created a die cut strip from one of the Calypso Coral designs in the DSP. Starting with a 1/2″ x 6″ strip, I used the edge-die in the Tropical Layers Die set, set the die against one side of the strip and ran it thru the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine…
Then I set the die against the opposite straight edge and ran it thru the cutter.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the resulting strip across the card front with Liquid Glue – snipping off the excess with my Paper Snips.
I used more dies from the Tropical Layers die set to cut a Calypso Coral leaf, a Mint Macaron leaf, and a Mint Macaron leaf. I adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue – in that order!
On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the leaf image from Artfully Layered in Just Jade and cut it with the matching die in the Tropical Layers set.
I colored the leaf with my Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the Artfully Layered sentiment in Calypso Coral on Basic White and cut it out with the leaf die.
I used a Sponge Dauber to add some Just Jade ink around the edges of the leaf and then used Liquid Glue and a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card front.
I added some of the new white Faux Sea Glass Shapes around the collage on the card front and some of the Just Jade shapes on the sentiment leaf and the card front was done!
I left the inside blank, just adding the pretty leaf from Artfully Layered in Calypso Coral on the Basic White panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Just Jade mat and into my Calypso Coral card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got more Artfully Composed leaves on the front…
…and a little more of the Artfully Composed DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! A friend of mine asked me what my favorite new goodie is in the Jan-Jun 2022 Mini Catalog. I don’t know that Artfully Layered and its bundled Tropical Layers Die set is my #1 Fave but….it’s for darned tootin’ in the top 5! I love the images – and the amazing leafy die cuts – they are perfect for my fave kind of card – collage cards! And when you add in the Artfully Composed DSP, well, it’s pretty stinkin’ wunnermus! You’re going to want it on the list, for sure!
