Stampin’ Up! Elegantly Said Encircled in Beauty for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is birthdays!  We can interpret that any way we want – so…be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!

Birthday cards are ALWAYS welcome in my stash – and I bet in yours as well!  This one comes from the Elegantly Said stamp set with some die cuts from the Encircled in Beauty DiesSimply Elegant Specialty DSP and the Thanks & Hello Embossing Folders bring their pretty help to the party, too.  Take a look-see:

The layout is from the sketch side of this week’s FUSION challenge – and some of the elements were inspired by the photo!

I started with a piece of Basic White cardstock that I embossed in the “hello” folder from the Thanks & Hello Embossing Folders set.  I ran it thru twice to cover the entire panel – this is a Mini Embossing folder (so it will work in the Mini Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine as well as the full size Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine!).   Then I matted it on a piece of Pale Papaya vellum from the 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum pack to make the card front.

I cut a piece of the Simply Elegant Specialty DSP, matted it on the Pale Papaya 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum and adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I cut three Basic White circles using one of the smaller dies in the Encircled in Beauty DieI  Then I cut two smaller circles of the Pale Papaya vellum.  I adhered the vellum die cuts to two of the white die cuts with a couple of Glue Dots.

I stamped an Elegantly Said sentiment in Pale Papaya on Basic White and cut it with the smaller Encircled in Beauty die.  Then I adhered it to the third Basic White die cut with Liquid Glue.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered some leaves and berries die cuts from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack to the card front.  Then I adhered the two layered die cuts with Liquid Glue.

I popped the layered sentiment die cut onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finally, I used little dabs of Liquid Glue to adhere a few Pale Papaya Loose Flowers Embellishments here and there and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added a second Elegantly Said sentiment to a Basic White panel in Pale Papaya.  Across the bottom I stamped the flower image from Elegantly Said a few times in Pale Papaya.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pale Papaya piece of 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum and into my Evening Evergreen card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got more Elegantly Said flowers across the front in Pale Papaya…

…and a little more Simply Elegant Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Although from different bundles, the Elegantly Said stamp set is a super complement to the Encircled in Beauty die set, don’t you think??  And – I’m a real fan of “word” embossing folders, so I really love the Thanks & Hello Embossing Folders!  When you need a little bump of glimmer and shine – the Simply Elegant Specialty DSP is a great place to start!

I hope you like!
