Stampin’ Up! To The Moon for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  We’ve got sketch challenge to work with today and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table!  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I pulled out a sweet little stamp set – called To The Moon – with it’s pretty lunar images and Love-You-To-The-Moon-And-Back sentiments to play with to make a card I sent to our friends on the announcement of a new tiny human on the way! 🙂  And I combined it with a little paper from the Pattern Party DSP (this is the pack that has 40 sheets of paper that you can get for FREE with a workshop or order over $150 in retail!).  Take a look-see:

I started with some Pattern Party paper that makes me think of stars in the sky (in Maui!) that I adhered with Liquid Glue to the front of my Daffodil Delight card base.

I matted a strip of the same paper on Balmy Blue and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the moon image from To The Moon in Balmy Blue on Basic White and used the largest Layering Circles Die to cut it out.   Then I popped it onto the card front with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the To The Moon sentiment in Tuxedo Black on Basic White and cut it with a Stitched Rectangle Die.  I added some Balmy Blue stars – the small clusters in the set – and large Daffodil Delight stars.

Then I used Liquid Glue and a Black Stampin’ Dimensional to adhere it onto the card front.

I added some silver diamond-shaped gems from the Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials pack here and there – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the To The Moon “phases” image in Balmy Blue, then added two more sentiments in Basic Black.  I also stamped some more stars – big and small!!  And…added one last Silver gem from the Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Balmy Blue mat and into the Daffodil Delight card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got more moon phase and stars on the front…

…and a little more “starry” Pattern Party DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Even if you’re not a fan of the book, this To The Moon set (sort of a flyover so be sure to go back and take a look – on page 102) – is sure to be a winner – with lots of “new phases” to use it for!  And – if you place an individual order over $150 in retail (or host a workshop totalling that or more!) then you can select the Pattern Party DSP as one of your Stampin’ Rewards items!  That’s a LOT of paper for FREE!!
