Stampin’ Up! Blossoms in Bloom Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hey y’all – it’s Thursday, so it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  Today’s a color challenge – and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table!  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

When I saw the colors for this week – I saw flowers.  I know.  Shocker.  Mary used flowers! 😳😳😳  I pulled out the wunnermus Blossoms in Bloom stamp set and my Stamparatus and got after it!  Take a look-see:

Yeah, I see it – I’m kind of on a roll with the stamp-an-image-cut-part-of-it-out-and-pop-it-back-in thing this week.  😉

And here’s our color challenge!

The layout for this one is from this week’s Global Design Project sketch challenge.

I started with a panel of Whisper White that I placed in my Stamparatus.  Then, I used the Stamparatus to stamp the big, bold blossoms from Blossoms in Bloom in Mango Melody.

I pulled the cardstock out of the Stamparatus and added some smaller flowers around the main image in stamped-off-once So Saffron.  I also added some stamped-off-once Old Olive leaves here and there.

I added flower centers in So Saffron and some in Mango Melody.

Then, I used the larger label die in the Stitched So Sweetly die set to cut the center out of the panel.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the panel to a Mango Melody mat – and then to an Old Olive mat.  I popped the die cut back in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere a length of Old Olive ribbon from the Ornate Floral Ribbon Combo Pack.

The sentiment, from Blossoms in Bloom, is stamped in Old Olive on Whisper White and cut with the narrowest Stitched Rectangle Die.  Then I popped it on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used my Fine-Tip Glue Pen to add some clear gems from the new Flowers For Every Season Gems pack – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a whole cottage garden’s worth of flowers onto a Whisper White panel using the small flowers in the stamp set.   Then, cuz I like it so much, I pulled out Many Mates and added that sweet sentiment in Old Olive.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Mango Melody and Old Olive mat and into my Whisper White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Blossoms in Bloom flowers and leaves on the front…

…and on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  How gorgeous are these Blossoms in Bloom flowers?  I love the different “gardens” that we can make with one stamp set!  And – although I didn’t use it on this card – the bundled Many Layered Blossoms Die set is a showstopper!!

I hope you like….and have added this to your list.  OR…maybe THIS will be the bundle you pick as your FREE BUNDLE when you join between 3 Jun and 30 Jun!? 😉
