Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Blooms Thank You

Happy Monday!  Happy Martin Luther King Day – hopefully you’ve got the day off.

So…y’all know that clean-and-simple isn’t really my thing, right?  Well….today I’m giving it a go.  Using the Sale-A-Bration stamp set called Thoughtful Blooms ($50 level reward) and the coordinating Small Bloom Punch ($100 level reward).  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge!

I started with a plain piece of Whisper White card stock.  Then, with a plate from the cupboard – I used a pencil to oh-so-lightly mark a half-circle on the card stock. The red marks on the paper show the half-point of the card stock – so you can see how I lined the plate up.

I used that mark to start laying out the stamped images from the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set.  I added stems/branches in Pool Party to start.  Then I laid in some flowers in Flirty Flamingo and Real Red.  The little dots image added some extra “perkiness” in Flirty Flamingo!

I added a Thoughtful Blooms sentiment in Flirty Flamingo.

With the half-circle laid out – I erased the pencil mark.  Then I matted the panel on Flirty Flamingo card stock.

On another piece of Whisper White, I stamped the two larger flower images in Flirty Flamingo and Real Red and punched them with the Small Bloom Punch.

I gently curled each of the punched flowers and adhered them with Liquid Glue to the card front.

I used some of the From My Heart Faceted Gems and adhered them with Liquid Glue to the stamped flowers.  Each of the punched flowers got a Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewel.  And that was it for the card front.

On the inside, I added a second Thoughtful Blooms sentiment in Flirty Flamingo to a Whisper White panel.  Next to it I added some Pool Party “foliage” and Flirty Flamingo dots.  I also adhered another of the punched flowers.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Flirty Flamingo panel and into my Pool Party card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Thoughtful Blooms flowers and dots on the front…

…and some Pool Party Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I love this color combination, don’t you?  And this little Sale-A-Bration “set” – Thoughtful Blooms and the Small Bloom Punch aren’t really a “true” set unless you pick BOTH of them as Sale-A-Bration rewards – but they go together like peanut-butter-and-jelly! … really works so well to create lovely flower “scenes”!  I hope you like!
