Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hey y’all – it’s Thursday, so it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  Today’s Hop is a Sketch challenge (the first with the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog LIVE!) – so, I’m excited to see what everyone comes up with –  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop!

I decided to play with what is likely to be one of my favorite new goodies – the Magnolia Lane Suite!  I used the new Magnolia Memory Dies and the matching Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.  Plus…a little Memories & More…. take a look-see:

And here’s the sketch!

I started with a small card from the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack and (after trimming it just a smidge!) – matted it on Petal Pink and adhered it to the front of a Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Card.

Next up, I folded a length of 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon in half and stapled it at the fold – then adhered it to the card front with Glue Dots.

To make the Magnolia, I used the three petal dies from the Magnolia Memory Dies set – and cut two of the large petals and two of the small.  With a Sponge Dauber – I sponged the centers in Petal Pink.  Then I used my Bone Folder to give them some curl and adhered all the petals in a stack.

I cut a small center in Petal Pink and adhered that in the…well…center!  Than I topped it with a medium sized Gold Faceted Gem.

I used the leaves dies in Magnolia Memory to cut several from Mossy Meadow and Soft Sea Foam.  The ones you see that appear embossed were a happy accident.  I tried to cut two layers at once – which sort of worked. The bottom layer, though, didn’t cut well – instead, it embossed.  Since I liked how it looked – I used them!  I sponged them all a little with Mossy Meadow ink.

I used Dimensionals to pop the flower onto the card front, then used Liquid Glue to tuck the leaves underneath.

I used a sentiment sticker from the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack next to the flower – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the large flower image from Good Morning Magnolia in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a Whisper White panel.  Then I used my Light Petal Pink and Color Lifter Stampin’ Blends to color the flower.  Added a sentiment in Mossy Meadow, too.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Petal Pink mat and into the Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Card and the card was done!

On the front of my Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Envelope, I stamped that Good Morning Magnolia image in Tuxedo Black…

…and I used some SNAIL to add one of the envelope liners that comes with the Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Card and Envelop pack.

Et Voila!  How completely wonderful is that flower – made with the Good Morning Magnolia bundle?!? Simply stunning – which is a word I think applies to this entire suite of products, don’t you?  I hope you like!
