Stampin’ Up! A Mosaic Mood Sneak Peek Thank You!

Happy Friday, y’all!  All things being equal…I should be on the road by the time this hits your inbox.

Fingers, toes and eyes crossed that the predicted rain didn’t materialize!

My card today uses the pretty Memorable Mosaic stamp set and coordinating Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP.  Plus a new punch (whoo-hoo for new punches!!) called the Timeless Label Punch that will be bundled with the stamp set when the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog goes live on 4 May.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one was inspired by the sketch challenge at Sunday Stamps this week.

I started with a piece of the Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP and matted it on Terracotta Tile (one of the wonderful new 2019-2021 In Colors!) to create the card front.

On a smaller piece of Whisper White, I stamped the tree-leaves image from Memorable Mosaic three times – once each in Mint Macaron, Garden Green and Soft Sea Foam – moving the image slightly with each stamp to create a fuller image.  I also added a Soft Suede trunk.

Then I cut a Circles Layering Framelit circle from the corner – hanging on to all the cut pieces – and matted the panel on Crushed Curry.

I adhered the main matted panel to the card front with Liquid Glue – trimming the overhang on the side and bottom.  Then I  matted the cut-out circle on a Crushed Curry scalloped-edge circle die cut and popped it in place, lining up the images.  Then I used my Paper Snips to trim the excess.  Finally, I used a little Liquid Glue to stick the tiny Whisper White corner back into place to “complete” the card front!

I stamped the Memorable Mosaic sentiment in Soft Suede on Whisper White and cut it with the small Rectangle Stitched Framelit die.  With the new Timeless Label Punch, I cut out a coordinating piece of the Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP and adhered it to the circle with Liquid Glue.

I popped the sentiment on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I fussy cut three butterflies from the Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP and adhered them in a fluttery-fashion with Liquid Glue.  Then, since I was on a roll (or a “snip”!), I cut a little bee and adhered him with Liquid Glue to the sentiment.  It’s all about the icing, people!

I added a Pearl Basic Jewel to each of the three butterflies – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the big, bold sentiment from Memorable Mosaic in Soft Suede, then colored it in with my Mint Macaron Stampin’ Write Marker.  I stamped some flowers in Terracotta Tile – and gave them each a tiny Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Marker flower center.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Crushed Curry mat and into my Terracotta Tile card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

I added more Memorable Mosaic Terracotta Tile and Crushed Curry flowers to the front of my Whisper White Medium Envelope…

…and I added more of the Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I have to say – this Memorable Mosaic suite of goodness is really growing on me!  I love the images in the stamp set and the paper is simply gorgeous!  Being a fussy-cutter at heart, I love that so many images in the paper “stand alone” enough to use as decoration (icing!) on my projects.  I hope you like and are already making plans to add this to your stash when the catalog goes live in….less than a month!
