Stampin’ UP! Life is Grand, Lovely and Floral!

Well.  Here we are.  Monday.  Again.  Bleh.

That said – before our NEXT Monday together, I’ll be at OnStage.  And ON our next Monday together….I’ll be sharing all the sneak peeks from the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog!  Speaking of – if you’re a current customer of mine, you’ll be on my list for mailing you a new catalog.  I can order them on 2 May and as soon as I get them in hand I’ll send them out to you!  If you aren’t a customer of mine – but would like to be – and aren’t already working with a Demonstrator! – place an order with me of $50 or more between now and 2 May to get on my mailing list! 🙂

My card for today is a super simple one – with a nice clean design!  It uses the big and bold Life is Grand stamp set, plus some goodies here and there from the All My Love Suite!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one was inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week.

And I thought it fit in pretty well with the Watercooler Wednesday Feminine “Anything Goes” challenge.

I started by matting a piece of All My Love DSP on Soft Sea Foam for the card front.

On a piece of Whisper White, using my Stamparatus, I stamped the large sentiment from Life Is Grand.  I used a sticky note to mask off the “dear friend” and inked “Hello,” with my Lovely Lipstick ink pad.  I actually did that twice to get the color I wanted.  Then I switched my mask and inked the rest of the sentiment in Balmy Blue.  The Stampapotamus made this EASY!! 🙂

I cut the sentiment with a Rectangle Stitched Framelits die and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used a couple of Glue Dots to adhere a doubled-up length of Whisper White 5/8″ Flax Ribbon to the corner of the panel.

With the Lovely Flowers Edgelits, I cut two Soft Sea Foam “leaves” and adhered them over the ribbon with Liquid Glue.

On another piece of scrap Whisper White – and again pulling out the Stamparatus – I stamped the flower image from the Forever Lovely in Lovely Lipstick, then I cut it out with its matching die in the Lovely Flowers Edgelits.  I popped the flower on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel and the card front was done!

On the inside, I did some more Sticky Note masking and used my Stamparatus to stamp a second sentiment from Forever Lovely in Lovely Lipstick and Balmy Blue on a piece of Whisper White.  In the corner, I added another Lovely Lipstick flower.

I added a Rhinestone and then used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Soft Sea Foam mat and into my Balmy Blue card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another Forever Lovely flower in Lovely Lipstick on the front…

…and I added some more All My Love DSP to the envelope flap!
