Well – and a card!

I made a baby card.  I don’t NEED a baby card right now – but…I LOVE this Perfectly Paired stamp set and finally got it pulled off the shelf to use!  Take a look-see:

I colored almost the entire image with Stampin’ Blends – which was perfect for this week’s TGIF Challenge!

I started with a piece of Whisper White card stock and, using my Stamparatus, I stamped the large Perfectly Paired image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

When the image was good and dry, I started coloring!  I used Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends in Soft Suede (the Ark), Smoky Slate (hephulumps), Granny Apple Green (croc-a-gators), Flirty Flamingo (duh?), Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie (Musafa and his wife), Daffodil Delight and Bronze (giraffagalumpagus’s), Smoky Slate (koalas), Crumb Cake (for the gnu’s – I’m pretty sure those are gnu’s, you gknow?), Daffodil and Flirty for the birds, Basic Black for the flag pole and Bermuda Bay for the fishes!

Whew!!  Didja get all that??!

Here’s the bottom line – color your animals however makes you happy!! 😉

I added Light and Dark Pool Party for the flood-waters, then I stamped some Balmy Blue clouds and colored them with the Light and Dark Balmy Blue Blends!  Then I matted the panel on Granny Apple Green card stock.

Again using my Stamparatus, I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black on a strip of Whisper White.  Then I snipped a banner end – and edged the whole thing with my Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Write Marker.

I popped the sentiment onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added a second Perfectly Paired sentiment in Tuxedo Black to a Whisper White panel, then I stamped two of the fish nearby.  I colored those – one in Granny Apple Green and one in Bermuda Bay – with more of my Blends.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Granny Apple Green mat and into my Balmy Blue card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a whole school of fish on the front…

…and some Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP in Balmy Blue on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This Perfectly Paired stamp set is fairly….perfect!…for a welcome to the world for a new tiny human.  It’s also seriously fun to color with our awesome Stampin’ Blends!
