Stampin’ Up! Well Written And Well Said Floral for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hey y’all – it’s Thursday, so it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  Today’s a sketch challenge – and I’m excited to see what everyone comes up with!  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop.

I pulled out the Well Said bundle, complete with the so-awesome Well Written Framelits and added a touch of Country Floral and Gingham to the mix.  Take a look-see:

Here’s our sketch…

And I drew on the Nature’s Hues colors from Sunday Stamps for my color palette.

I started with some Daffodil Delight paper from the Gingham Gala 6″ x 6″ DSP stack and matted it on Blueberry Bushel for the card front.

The embossed layer is made with the new (and wondrous!!) Country Floral Dynamic TIEF.  To color the panel, I first dragged my Daffodil Delight ink pad across the FLAT side of the folder.  That would be the side where the design is INdented. Not…OUTdented.  😉

Then I carefully placed my Whisper White panel into the folder (making sure not to wiggle it around) and ran it thru the Big Shot.

I matted the embossed panel on Blueberry Bushel and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

To build my collage, I first adhered a Grapefruit Grove Colored Doily with Liquid Glue.

For the sentiment, I stamped another piece of the Gingham Gala paper with the single word from Well Said in Blueberry Bushel and cut it with a Stitched Shapes Framelits circle die.  Then I matted it on a Blueberry Bushel scalloped circle and adhered it over the doily with Liquid Glue.

I snipped a piece of Beautifully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty DSP and adhered it – white side up – with Liquid Glue.  Over that, I added a length of Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon with a little more Liquid Glue.

The second part of the sentiment is cut from Blueberry Bushel using the Well Written Framelits die – then I adhered it with little dabs of Liquid Glue.  And I even remembered to dot my i’s! 😉

Finally, I cut a bunch of little flowers using the dies (yes, there are FOUR of them!) in the Well Written Framelits – I cut them in Daffodil Delight and Highland Heather.  Then I stuck them together in little stacks – they look like violets! – curled the petals slightly and adhered them to the card front.  A So Saffron Share What You Love Artisan Pearl in the middle of each flower finished off the card front.

On the inside, I added a second Well Written die cut sentiment and exclamation point in Blueberry Bushel, plus a Highland Heather butterfly and a Daffodil Delight flourish to a Whisper White panel.  I even added a couple of Grapefruit Grove Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to the flourish.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Blueberry Bushel mat and into my Highland Heather card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another couple of Well Written die cuts on the front…

…and a little more Gingham Gala DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  How pretty is that Country Floral embossed panel??  And so easy to color, too.  I love it and I love the Well Said bundle – tons of stamped sentiments and coordinating die cuts from Well Written.  Wow, huh?!  I hope you like!

In case you don’t have this bundle yet, I’d encourage you to pick it up before the Occasions catalog is done.  I don’t know if these goodies will make it to the next Annual Catalog (in JUNE!), but even if they DO – the bundle price will go away.  So…save yourself 10%, okay?  Just sayin’!
